I've been a full on Jesus lover for 56 years but now in my retired days i come so much closer to Him as I have so much more time and I want to know in REALISTIC TERMS. how we keep our bills paid, and houses in order but focusing really totally on God ??? tell me about your experiences or views.

they made it so that woman would look slightly inferior to man as a ploy to stay in control and brainwash women and men that women were somehow inferior? That gave them the edge. Also they wrote rules in there so humanity wouldnt get out of control. 'Your creator' wrote this so it must be true. But a bunch of men from the old times just wrote it. True or False?

I have been reading for sometime now some of the statements that so called Christians are saying to you. And though I do not personally owe you an apology, still I give it to you. every time I read these questions toward Athiests, It is always in a disrespectful manner. They are always bashing you with their "You will burn in hell" and other (misguided) bible beliefs.
1 Peter 3:15 says...But sanctify the Christ as Lord in YOUR hearts, always ready to make a defense before everyone that demands of YOU a reason for the hope in YOU, but doing so together with a mild temper and deep respect.
Obviously from this scripture, many of these proclaimers do not know Gods word, and have failed to use it right in discussing their belief in it. I , am one of Jehovah's Witnesses. And I respect you and your beliefs. If ever you are approached by a JW. they will try to engage in a conversation with you and try to reason in dignified manner. WE will not threaten you with Hellfire, or condesend you.

On the 3rd page of the so called NewTestiment, Mt. 5:17-19 Yahshua taught "Do not think that I have come to destroy the LAW & THE PROPHETS; I HAVE NOT COME TO DESTROY THEM, BUT RATHER TO ESTABLISH THEM! ***" Yahshua knew that the first thing that satan would try to do would be to get people to hate the writtings of the Law & the Prophets, because that is where the very heart of YAHWEH can be found!!! Later, while the Apostle Paul was emprisoned he was still inspired to write in Romans 2:13 "For not the hearers of the Law are the righteous in the sight of YAHWEH, but the doers of the Law are the Righteous!" Also, in 3:31 he asks? "Are we then doing away with the Law through the faith? By no means! Rather, we establish the Law!!!" Now, at what point do christians think that those holy & righteous laws were done away with? Are we more intellegent than our own Creator, to regect HIM & rule ourselves?!!

I used to get along well with this female coworker. I have a huge crush on her but now she has a boyfriend. Everytime we see each other I try to avoid her but she comes to me and is very friendly to me. I try my best to ignore her and send a message that I don't want to talk to her. She either doesn't get the hint or doesn't care and continues to try to talk to me and ask me to go out with her and others from work for drinks. She has a boyfriend so I try to stay away from her, plus she used to be very flirty with me and has suggested that the two of us hook up after a night of drinking. I don't know if she still likes me like that but I don't want to come between her and her boyfriend. But I also want her bad. What do I do?

I've noticed this morning that a lot of Christians seem to think that the KJV is the original translation of the Bible. I think I even saw one person say it's the original version. (OK, yeah, I know I'm slow...don't know why it took me this long to notice. :-P)

So, my questions are: Who is teaching this falsehood and why is nobody correcting the error when we see it? Or am I misreading these answers?

I am not bashing anyone, I'm just curious.

So I was in like a 3 story house with people I didint know.( including a priest) a flood came, you could see a huge wave coming. we all went on the roof. the water didint reach above the roof, and all of a sudden the water was sucked down really fast and everything was ok. We went back in the house,, and a siren came on warning it was coming again, we went up again, and the same thing happened,,, the water was sucked down again. But only this time the priest didint make it, and everyone was upset, and it shock. any suggestions?

You find people busy saying bad things about people who are less fortunate than them. Some guy is busy dissing africa for being the most poorest continent with the most messed up countries. He forget that it was just by random selection that he ended being born were he is today aint that he did something special or God favoured him the most. He could have been one starving and naked in sudan with out parents just waiting to die in the desert as vultures circle him. My question is who are we to judge others?
