I have plenty to do,going to work, friends etc.{don't want a cat} and I am not reliant on some-one else for my happiness, but I get like this when he goes away.

Your partner & you must have a very special relationship, for you to feel so down, now that he's gone away again, but for two weeks this time. Sure, you say you have plenty to keep you busy but let's face it, you are missing your partner & nothing or no one will ever be able to fill the void you are feeling now. I only hope the time will go by quickly & your partner will soon be back home with you. I'm sure he's missing you too & counting down the days until he is back home again with you. Come visit us, we'd love to see you here. :)
**patrick.....You're a twit. Isn't it time for Sesame Street?**

Think of all the good stuff, you get the tv remote, you get the whole of the bed, no snoring/wind breaking, talk on the phone for ages without him feeling neglected, surf the net, think how lucky you are to be alive (watch the news and realise that there are people in a lot worse state than you). Best of all look forward to the reunion in 2 weeks time!!

Awww Shan, my partner is away working at the moment as well, but I love the peace and freedom I have when he's away. I don't want him away all the time of course.
Think of all those things you want to do and get yourself doing them hun.
Have a night out with friends, let your hair down and have some fun.

Shan, I feel really guilty saying this 'cos although I still work 30 hours a week, my partner doesn't. He is at home ALL the time. I would just LOVE him to be out from under my feet , for just a few hours a week, to give me a bit of 'ME' time.
Hope I don't sound too selfish.

Mine goes away Monday to Friday every week and I miss him like mad,but on the plus side,I get the remote control and can watch my "rubbish" in peace,he is never in the bathroom when I want to go(usually an emergency),I do'nt have to cook a big meal when I want a salad,I can dress like a slob,I can give myself little treats he knows nothing about,I go to bed when I want and can read, eat sweets whatever,He does'nt disturb my sleep (snoring, getting up for a wee etc) and best of all we do'nt argue!!!! Love to see him at weekends,it is really special! Has this made you laugh? xxxxx

We have a permanent circus in this town so we have a few dwarfs and the other day one stepped out into the road in front of my car. I was not going fast but I could not miss him and knock him down. I got out and rushed round to him lying on the ground and said. "Are you okay" "Well I not happy" he replied
"Which one are you then?" I asked
