Jesus says the end of the world will include people coming, saying they are Jesus, but it will not be true. This has not happened, so the end is not near, right? And what about spreading the Word to all nations? That has not happened either.

Hate is everywhere. Human beings generalize all the time, ahead of time, about everyone and everything. A large part of it may even be hard-wired. At some point in our evolution, being able to know beforehand who was friend or foe was not merely a matter of philosophical reflection. It was a matter of survival. And even today it seems impossible to feel a loyalty without also feeling a disloyalty, a sense of belonging without an equal sense of unbelonging. We're social beings. We associate. Therefore we disassociate. And although it would be comforting to think that the one could happen without the other, we know in reality that it doesn't.

If Jesus died for your sins then how can you still burn in Hell? That means that before Jesus all people went to Hell. If thats not true than Jesus didn't die for our sins at all. Maybe it was instead a lesson of forgivness that has been taken out of context by the christian's to make a place called Hell to instill fear.

Here's a synopsis: A girl and boy in their late teens meet on a deserted beach off-season. They talk and eventually become friends. After a time, the girl falls in love with the boy, and then discovers that he's gay. I have 2 endings. How would you end this story? BTW, part of it was posted on this site a few weeks ago.

Excerpt from an answer on a previous question: "suppose you created a beautiful masterpiece work of art... what if you decided to destroy it? You created it, you have every right."

He was using that as an analogy to explain why God has the right to kill humans, His creations.

Does that right extend to human beings? Are they allowed to destroy what they create? ANYTHING they create?

I only ask because I've been told certain groups are contacting their Y? allies to ask for votes when a question goes to group voting.

As for me, what matters most is what's written in the question and answers. Everyone knows "Best answer" is subjective and anyone with a sincere desire for information is not going to allow that to influence their thinking. I guess influencing a best answer outcome in this way is a fun time filler for people with nothing better to do, but I doubt it really makes anyone who is reading for information think differently.
What do you think?

The fact is that the whole human race is on death row, justly condemned for repeatedly breaking God's holy law. Without Jesus we would have no hope at all. But thank God! He has made a way for us, where there was no way.
Jesus said: I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE
no one comes to the Father, but through me.

Are you on death row, or have you received forgiveness of sins, through Jesus Christ. All you have to do is ask, and repent (turn away from your sinful ways), and make Jesus Lord of your life, instead of living to please your own selfish ways.

See, I've been told many times that "this is God's house... why should he have to allow people to behave badly in his house?"

Usually this is given in response to a question like: "Why is God beyond reproach when he has people slaughtered for mocking him?"
