If Jesus died for your sins then how can you still burn in Hell? That means that before Jesus all people went to Hell. If thats not true than Jesus didn't die for our sins at all. Maybe it was instead a lesson of forgivness that has been taken out of context by the christian's to make a place called Hell to instill fear.

So by God's will you are born in the deep jungles and you have not heard of this particular religion you will burn in Hell. That logic is as flaky as a 3 dollar bill.

Those before Jesus had a sacrifical system for forgiveness of sins. Hell will be a real place of torment.

I'm a non-denominational teacher of the manuscripts; yep, I see the hellfire and brimstone message on tv, too.
Well, its not exactly accurate. Whether its just that the preachers don't understand the Bible, or if its intentional to scare people, I can't really say for sure, but I can tell you what the manuscripts say:

When Christ returns and touches foot onto
the Mount, all of us good or bad, change back to our spiritual bodies, instantly.
That day will usher in a 1000 year period of teaching and strict disipline. This teaching period is for those who although they are now in their spiritual body, they "awaken" to the fact that their soul is still mortal (liable to die). They will have the teaching period to be taught and hopefully they can be taught and avoid destruction.
After that period expires, Satan is loosed again for a short period to tempt those who he can for one more little final test, and then comes the Great Judgement. Those who DO NOT make it, will follow Satan into what is called the "lake of fire". This is NOT fire as we know of it; "our" kind of fire would not have any affect on the spiritual body. Instead, its an all-consuming fire that is able to kill both the spiritual body AND the soul.
Those who do not make it follow Satan into that Lake of Fire. They are turned to ashes from within. The only thing that is "forever and ever" is the smoke that rises up into the air (smoke does that). They are gone, kaput, done. It will only take as long as it does to walk into it. Then, when that is over, the Lake of Fire ITSELF is also done away with. Nothing will be left that offends.
Not some pit of eternal torment where old uncle Henry is screaming as he frys like bacon forever - its just not written. Many of the mistakes people make with this issue is that they do not understand idioms - or figures of speech.
Satan himself at this time is not even in a pit of torture. He is standing in back of God at the throne accusing Gods Children.
That teaching period is not only for those who live in the African plains and have never seen a Bible; no, there are many who live right here in America but never get the opportunity to hear the truth - how can they when the Churches are teaching lies that God never wrote nor did he tell anyone to teach? Many never have a chance in hell at learning the truth.
My point is that you shouldn't figure you are off to hell too quickly; quite frankly, you are more likely off to school.

You think that Jesus died for your sins, that means you can do whatever you want and still go to heaven?

Religion is the opiate of the masses. that means that religion is a way of keeping the population in check. If people were allowed to do whatever they want without a second thought to morals, then hell would be on earth.

Oh and Hell was created in the Old testement, that means BEFORE christ.

at least pretend to know what you're talking about.

This is a rather vague question. The idea that Jesus died for our sins, according to your query, is wrong because people go to Hell, or because everyone went to Hell before Jesus. The problem is there is no way to actually determine if all those people are really in Hell.

If Jesus was a Jew then doesn't it make sense that we follow in His footsteps- not those of the romans? The romans (which by the way are the ones who crucified him) saw that the people loved Jesus and realized that it was a good strategy for public control- hence church/state marriage! Look at the hypocracy of everything else they do. Hell is here and now, the Bible says repeatedly that you reap what you sow. It's natural law, God didn't create us to suffer, but in turn if we do bad things we get bad results. Just because we will be forgiven doesn't mean we won't be punished still.

In the OT everybody went to She ohl. Good men, prophets, evil kings, all 'lay down with their forefathers'. I am of the opinion then, that She ohl and later Hades in Greek, is just the symbolic human grave. As you said, Jesus died for our sins, how can his blood mean so little? And the idea of Dante's hell goes against God's words when he specifically told Adam and Eve 'ashes to ashes and dust to dust.' These two sinned the most out of all humankind. Why did they return to dust while others are tormented eternally? It doesn't make sense.

fear is the key word and it has worked for thousands of years and each time a group gets smart enough to change things some group that promotes fear dumbs everyone down again A big drive by the US and the state of Kansas along with the country of Turkey it is happenin as I write this answer. If you teach non facts as truth and forbid the teaching of facts(science) you doom future generations to live in fear of the unknow that they could possibly know if left to discover and not told how to think and how to be. The people who push the religions have done a very poor job and have cause hatred and fear to be our salvation. The answer is reading and understanding science and making a better world not ignoring the world because there is a better place in the sky or whereever.

You are using faulty logic. To say that everyone who died before Jesus went to hell makes no sense. How do you know that they didn't go to heaven? Are you saying that there were none that kept Gods laws before then? What about Abraham?

If Jesus DID die for a person's sins...then that person will certainly NOT burn in hell.
God is just...and the penalty MUST be dealt with. But He will not punish someone if the penalty has already been paid.

HOWEVER, Jesus did not die for the sins of every single human being who has ever existed, exists, or will exist.

Consider:
Jesus said: "I lay down my life for the sheep" John 10:15
...and then He said: "you do not believe beacuse you are not my sheep." John 10:26

Seems pretty straight forward to me...
Jesus said He died FOR HIS sheep....and not ALL people are His sheep.
Thus, Jesus did not die for EVERYBODY...but only His sheep...that is, those that believe in Him.

Again, He says, "you do not believe beacuse you are not my sheep," which implies that His sheep are the ones that DO believe.

-
SECONDLY:
Jesus doesn't have to die right this second for Him to have died for my personal sins. He died for my personal sins almost 2000 years ago. And I, through FAITH in His PAST death, am saved from the penalty of sin.

In like manner, Jesus did not have to die during the lifetimes of those that came before Him. He died for their personal sins years after they had committed them. And they, through FAITH in His FUTURE death, were saved from the penalty of sin.

-

Hell exists. And outside of Christ, all are headed there. I don't say this the ultimate purpose of scaring you. I say this with the ultimate purpose of WARNING you, so that you, too, may repent and believe...and so be saved....

Clear?

warpigs... Jesus came to create a NEW COVENANT and to bring the other comforter, The Holy Spirit into our lives so that we all could attain the same Spirit as God and Jesus had. Before Jesus came, Gentiles were not accepted, so, in order for this to be acceptable, He had to become our Savior in Word & Deed....

May you find Truth :)

No, before JESUS people did NOT go to "hell". HE died to save every repentant heart in this world. If people refuse to accept GOD's gracious gift of eternal life, then they will receive the punishment of death that JESUS took upon HIMSELF.
