Living forever...
there will be so much to do!
First of all, I think that the earth will have to cleaned up.After all , we want to have a clean earth for our loved ones that will be resurrected.
John 5 : 28,29 tells us that they will be resurrected as does Acts 24 :15
this cleaning is going to take some time b/c man has really made a mess of things!
Next, while I wait for the resurrection, I would love to take a tour of the earth. I would like to spend several years doing this, also to see as many of the wonders of creation as possible.
When the dead are brought back to life ( and what a wonderful time that will be), I look forward to welcoming them back and seeing to their comforts, helping to make sure that they all have good housing (see Isaiah 65 :21)
After their necessities are taken care of, I will assist with the education work as directed. The bible tells of "scrolls being opened" (Rev. 20 :12 ) What will they contain? No knows for sure, but whatever is in them will have to be taught to the people. As well as learned by the ones that lived through Armeggon.
and we can't forget, the bible says the righteous AS WELL AS THE UNRIGHTEOUS will be resurrected (acts 24 :15),, so that means the ones that do NOT know Jehovah's laws will also have to be taught the laws.
There will be so much to do! But , the thing we must concern ourselves with right now, is GETTING THERE!!

Just to add a little more unto Sugarpie's and Lover of Jehovah comments pertaining to the concept of the heavenly hope of many and most .Just reason ,God had his millions of angels before the founding of the earth and the universe as it is now ,and scientists can attest to the continuing and ever increasing universe today. So why would he use the earth as in incubator for producing angels when he willed that people would live forever upon it in full accomplished happiness, and that the heavenly angels would rejoice because of it and especially his master worker Jesus.

I know there will be much work 2 b done,
I will go where I am needed.
After that I'll b pleased to just live in my home,
enjoy my garden, b w/ my family, in peace & security.
I'll b pleased to meet faithful 1's of old,
and learn from them.
The food & drink; I can't imagine what it'll taste like,
I mean as in better tasting...it is from Jehovah.
i.e. the water has got to taste better.
I'm excited to welcome back family that have fell asleep in death,
& meet 1's I'd never met.
Teaching them about Jehovah.
I would really enjoy being an architect,
as I've told my hsbnd., I'll design them
& you can build them.
And the traveling around the world.
Meeting brothers & sisters from around the globe.
I love foods from any culture / land.
I'll b excited to be able to pet Big cats; a cheetah & puma.

Amen!
When a person dies, they do not go directly to heaven (nor to hell, either). They sleep in the dust until the second coming of Christ, when the dead are resureccted incprruptable, and caught up together to meet Jesus in the eair.
Ecclesiastes 9:5,6
5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun.
1 Thesselonians 4:13-18
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Hallelujah, we have a God who has broken through the chains of death!

Spell check here will help.
The Jews are promised the earth .We are promised the New Jerusalem that will be as a sattelite(a moon very likely shaped like a Pyramid) circling the earth .We will be able to descend and ascend to eath and back.We will be doing God's will for eternity.

Well according to most if not ALL Christians...I'll be burning in a lake of fire...which isn't so bad I suppose, since I'm a pyro...^_^ BUT if I had it my way...I would think that Heaven is kinda like...well, each and every one of us have a house...and there's one room, a bedroom where you sleep whenever you want...and then theres a long hallway (kinda like what's in the Matrix) and when you walk through on of the doorways, whatever fantasy you want it to be will happen...lets say you wanted to be in Star Wars, you'll be Luke or something...or whatever it is that you want...you know? Only requirement is a day at church, not the superficial church that most Chrisitans go to...but GODS church...were He/Her is preacher and stuff...or something like that....I dunno, I'm guessing I'll be in Hell witht he rest of the Atheists or something....

everyone thinks that they are going to heaven when they die. why would Jehovah God put us on earth, to get old, get sick and die, just to go back to heaven. not true. Jehovah did not change his mind. looking forward to seeing our love ones again in the Resurrection. when Jesus resurrected his friend Lazarus, when he was dead, he was brought back to life on earth. Jesus knew that Lazarus was only in the hell the common grave. what kind of friend would Jesus be if Lazarus was in heaven to bring him back to earth? Lazarus never said he was in heaven
