I read some answers from Christians and some are saying the bible has errors in it. Can you please show me where the errors are? I know the bible was written by man but it was also inspired by God, who can not tell a lie. Are you saying man is incapable of writing one single book without error? Please show me where the "errors" are and please provide your resources.

(ONLY MATURE ANSWERERS NEED APPLY)
For those who don't believe in God there's no need in trying to convince me to turn my back on Him, it's not going to happen. I'm not looking for conversion, I'm looking for answers.

if the world was such that things worked in a way that the majority of christians, would find themselves absolutely proven correct (in an "after the fact" sort of way)

would you want to be in that concept of heaven?

I mean, set aside not thinking they are right. IF you died, and they happened to be right afterall... would you want to be in that heaven?

personally, as most christians I've talked to, read about, or heard from, belive in it, I would absolutely NOT want to be in that heaven.
in fact for me, that would be worse than any Hell that they could imagine.

If God destroyed evil, God would destroy every opportunity of choice. And if God were to destroy every opportunity for choice, then God would destroy every opportunity for love. Therefore, God would destroy the highest good. For God to destroy evil would be evil. God doesn’t destroy evil; instead God defeats evil. How? Through Calvary and the resurrection. God turns every hurt into a hallelujah. Every defeat into victory!

This is, as far as you're concerned, a hypothetical question, so if you have to answer in a pedantic manner, don't answer at all.

I want to ask a question, but I think it'll offend someone, or someone will take it as an attack to them, or someone will ask me back a question. It's really annoying.

What's a good question to ask?

Global warming,...global shmwarming that's what I say. I'm going to continue driving round in my big car and taking lots of journeys on fuel guzzling planes and not do any carbon offsetting because I just don't buy into any of that nonesense. Since the cold war ended we've had find some other apocalypse to hang our collective fears on. The 2 current favourites are terrorism and global warming. Terrorist acts, when they do happen, are tragic. Global warming is the biggest urban myth in history!!!

Limited Atonement
Irresistible Grace
Perseverance of the Saints

"When the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and honored the word of the Lord; and all who were appointed for eternal life believed." Acts 13: 48

In this verse look what happened first. Because they were appointed for eternal life, they were saved. See if an anti-Calvinist can explain that.

I believe that it is God who saves us, He died on the cross and at that point in time he saved our sins.

Some people believe that God died on the cross for our sins, but that we have a choice to accept him or not. By that logic our sins are not forgiven until we accept him. Then, who's action is forgiving your sins? Yours, or God's? If you believe that then you are limiting what happened on the Cross. You can't say that God forgave your sins on the cross, and you have to chose whether to accept him or not. It's 1 or the othe

I have a little story. First of all; both my parents were christian and tried to raise me accordingly. Now, a religion is defined as: A specific fundamental set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs. I was told that every christmas, a man named Santa Claus miraculously fit down our chimney for the sole purpose of giving me presents but only if I was good for the year, the amount of these conditional presents were also dependant on my age and my parents income strangely enough. Aged five, I shared a set of beliefs and practises with many other children regarding Santa Claus, beliefs containing a moral code governing the conduct of my affairs. Aged five I had a religion: Santa Clausism. Later, I was told about how Jesus died and God loves me. At eleven I systematically went from disbelieving in Santa then Jesus. My parnets have no problem with the former disbelief. Why would that be?
