Which is the proper spelling? Being that it's a made up pejorative, I'm not sure it really matters, but just wondering.

I'm thinking 'fundie' would be the propper spelling. The word 'fundy' looks more like an adjective whereas 'fundie' appears to be a noun. Maybe that's just me though...

I hardly ever see the word spelled 'fundy', actually.

The linguist in me says that the proper shortened form of "fundamentalist" would be "fundie."

"Blood-bought" is pretty cool though. Sounds like an 80's slasher movie.

"Fundie" is how I usually spell it. To be honest, I haven't seen it spelled the other way before.

It's 'Islamist' next to which Christian Fundamentalism is slightly shoddy and dull.
