It's an interesting question, but I'm not sure it works like you think. The belief in reincarnation was widespread in Biblical times. Many thought Jesus was a reincarnation. The Hindu faith is based on a form of reincarnation, and though I don't agree with it, I do respect it. It is also true that many people want to believe they were someone else in a past life because they are not happy with what they have now. Just like it makes us feel important to say "My cousin knows a guy who is a roadie for The Eagles", or "My uncle was a professional baseball player" it falsely boosts our self-esteem to attach ourselves to a well known or interesting person, living or dead. Here's an idea, try being all you can be now, serve others, get an education, etc. and maybe someday people will want to be an incarnation of you!! good luck dear. peace

You are born, learn and return to the mainframe and then sent back to learn some more. If there is a God will there be rock concerts or games or something? I dont just want to sit around saying "man this place is alright and eat fruit for eternity".

sorry, there was no past lives, the human soul doesn't recycle itself. it dies and depending on the choice it made while alive, accept jesus or not, it goes to eternity, heaven or hell. no 2nd or 3rd or 4th chances, thats it, so your not gonna be a rock one day. think about it. if you lead a bad life the belief is in the next life you become something low, if you become a tree or whatever, how can you lead a good or bad life and then how could it be determined if you are to be something better or worse the next time. and look at people, are they that higher lifeform because they were good before...does that mean they were lower in their last life, like an animal or plant, then how could they have been so good to become a person. it's silly.

I have a great interest in past lives and I access the Akashic Records where I have seen thousands of people's past lives including hundreds of my own.
We live in thousands of different bodies over thousands and thousands of years. Your particular interests can't define what lives you've lived because they are too general.
You have most likely had many different professions, abilities and skills which you can draw on in this life.

This reminds me of an example in psychology relating to predispositions we have.
It applies equally to someone who is alive. Someone who loves Shakespeare and calculus is more likely to be a truck-driver than a professor, the fact remains that there are greater numbers of drivers, and interests will not effectively identify profession.
How do you know the person even had past lives? Don't automatically assume this isn't their first body.

You need to get hypnotized, or regressed, or whatever they call it. Odds are that you won't find who you were in a past life by a random dude figuring it out on Yahoo Answers.
