All of you people that answered in the negative are so very wrong. Unless you have walked in another persons shoes you can't begin to know why people of different ages marry. My husband and I married over 24 years ago, I had no idea I would marry a younger man, I wasn't "LOOKING" for a younger man, and HE wasn't "looking" for an older woman. and I am 16 years older than he. yet most people don't even know I am older than him. Many older Men marry younger women yet in society that's OK. Some people need to grow up, before they answer questions they know nothing about.

What's the big deal???? Funny, isn't it? As soon as someone, be it male or female, marries someone considerably older, they are accused of being a gold digger...Is it that hard for others to understand that some men, some gals actually DO prefer seriously older people? Why try to analyze it, it doesn't concern anyone but them. !
And when I see a young gal answer with $$$, I really have to assume a little bitterness is going on somewhere!

Let's face reality. Every man looks for his mother in the woman he marries. The real question is why do so many marry younger women? We older ladies are more experienced at love, more adventurous, more fun to be around and if anyone has the big bucks its us.

I have known 3 young men thru the years that truly liked older women and married women 17 to 20 years older, my son married one 13 years older. I still feel many are a basic loser looking for a free nest and the older woman may become hooked enough on him that she lets him do what he chooses and overlooks it for a shred of attention. I wouldn't have one even if he had his own lawnmower and hedge trimmers.
