"New Light"on Blood transfusions..."New Light" on armagedon..."New Light" on Whether heavenly calling of 144,000 people ended in 1935...(may be More)...."New Light" on excomunicating....constant "New Light" ....Is it not possable for God to comunicate with his earthly prophet accurately the first time?
There are hunderds of changes to Witness rules and belliefs. What is a false prophet if these people are not?

... rather than worship a god whose holy book claims he drowned all humanity, including new borns, infants, toddlers and little kids?

Just visualize the torment of thousands of little kids trying to avoid drowning, and then drowning.

I really don't care what you -think- happened to them -after- they drowned. The act of drowning, and the panic that one feels before drowning is sufficiently cruel and undeserved within this group of humanity that -no- claim to godhood can be recognized as valid.

So if it turns out he's the 'guy' who rules at the end, watch for me. I'll be the one making the perfect swan dive into that lake of yours.

Should you be surprised that anyone with integrity would prefer it so?

who detest religion and spirituallity, spend so much of their precious time in the Religion & Spirituallity section?
Has their boated ego somehow convinced them that any of the people who believe in G-D will "see the light," because of some philosopher's, or scientists theory?
Or, is it some childish antagonism that they believe will enable them to some how feel better about their lack of belief in anything, other than the word of man?
Surely if there is no proof of G-D (and this apparently, by their standards, would be a sufficent reason for everyone not believe in a CREATOR) then we additionally should not believe in LOVE and thus can not be LOVED.
Could this be the true source of their own disasifaction with themselves? An unloved child unable to love, is hurt by what he/she can not attain?
Could it be they keep themselves from
attaining that very thing they need so much?
What do YOU think?

Same sex marriage is now OK by the masses, We gloryfied godless vain people on the entertainment world, Abortion is glorified and considered a morel choice. God is blasphemed openly in the arts and media field. Marriage is considered quaint, And in some city's merry xmas is not displayed, I this the end?

The Society meets on Sunday mornings, provides guinea pigs for your favorite pot luck dishes, and a network of friends for when you are in need. It also has counselors and ceremonies for life transitions such as birth, mating and death. It provides parents with help in bringing up their children to be civilized human beings. For atheists, agnostics and the independent thinker of a spiritual bent, shouldn't it be considered a valid alternative to joining a religion you can't really embrace wholeheartedly?

before you get slung off...then when you do how do people get back on again sometimes within the day....i've had violations for probably saying things which may have been unfair...but were non the less only my opinion. i didn't swear at anyone...just didn't always agree..but i did base my answers and opinions on facts with which i had first hand knowledge.... but just how do these people get back on....some of the liveliest and most interesting have been removed lately.

OK, look, I'm 37 years old, and I still don't quite know what I want. I have been through 2 marriages and have had MANY boyfriends over the years that screwed me over. I just don't think I am compatible with men.

I have NEVER been in a lesbian relationship, but in some ways it does seem appealing to me. I have slight attractions to more "masculine lesbians", because I feel they can protect me. Plus they don't have the odors of a man, too!

Should I TRY to be a lesbian.

BTW: I have 4 kids.

I'm confused about my religion lately. I've grown up in a Christian family and I believe in God, but I don't know if this is the right thing for me. The same guy came twice to my door and told him was not interested and stop harrassing me and shoving religion down my throat. Can I put a restraining order on these harrasers.

I respect all religions, but if someone trespasses on my property, Can I call the police, take a picture of this guy or his license?
