Active meaning that god would be everywhere, and have a hand in all things shaping it as he pleases. There is free will for god's creations but then people would be "punished" if they choose the wrong path.

Passive meaning that god would create the ingredients of life and let it develop by due course and flourish like a plant given water, soil, and sunlight.

I was reading the book of mormon for a project, and i see they say jesus came and ministered to native americans. i don't recall ever seeing any jesus stuff in native american artwork or anything, where did they get this idea?

.. if a species evolves together as a group then why assume that any animal today is a "link" in the evolutionary chain leading to human .. if they are all evolved ? isnt that "evidence" alittly dicey to be using in the theory since it is evolved?
..and on the other hand if its localized mutation and only some members of the species evolved, then is it also to be assumed that only that "line" kept evolving and progressing to a new species while leaving the rest behind? if that is the case, then wouldnt that mean that each mutation that formed a new line would be an entirely different animal until one of its members mutates again? and if its such a slow process then wouldnt there be millions of in-between missing link species unaccounted for .. and if mutation was the cause wouldnt that be observable and at some points happen rather quickly to some groups ?.. anyway, as an evolutionist, which is more correct? the evolving at once theory or the localized evolving one? or somthing else?

I would never quote a scripture or quote a preacher if I had not carefully considered whether the scripture or the preacher made any sense. Quoting nonsense verbatim without examining it closely is why believers lose so many arguments.

I have an atheist friend who, just this morning, at work, got into a huge row with a girl she works with. This girl found out a while ago my friend was atheist, and had been dropping small insults, here and there, ever since.
My girl friend socked her in the nose today(finally.)

Christians, Muslims, Jews, atheists, everyone; can we all unite under the fact that we've all been through this sort of thing?
We've all been through the intolerant and ignorant people.

WIthouth them I am finding that my spritiual strenght is returning and my convictions are strong and and haing many encounters with spirits and God. but a hard time living in the real world, work, friends. etc.
