Same sex marriage is now OK by the masses, We gloryfied godless vain people on the entertainment world, Abortion is glorified and considered a morel choice. God is blasphemed openly in the arts and media field. Marriage is considered quaint, And in some city's merry xmas is not displayed, I this the end?

Denis - You are making alot of assumptions based on your 'persecuted Christian' complex. First of all Homosexuality is exalted - I'm sorry but I don't see many people bowing down and worshipping the God of homosexuality. Second Christianity is persecuted by the masses - What masses are these? I see empty churches in many cities, but not much persecution. Maybe criticism and people more willing to argue against outdated and nonsensical texts. Third - same sex marriage is now OK by the masses - How is that? When few countries can actually bring themselves to call it same sex marriage let alone give it any form of validity. To be honest I could go on analysing what you have said but I don't really see the point. Get off your high horse and start seeing the world around you for what it is, not as you would have it. Start being pro-active not reactive if you truly believe in half of what you are saying.

Only the end of the days when intolerant, childish views like yours were allowed to dictate people's lives! Let me tell you a few truths:

1) Gay people are born that way; it's not a choice, as your lot would like to think.
2) Marriage was invented for the sole benefit of men and is nothing more than glorified female slavery. There's more equality in relationships where people live together.
3) Abortion is sometimes necessary, e.g. if contraception fails (as sometimes happens), if the child is ill and will have no quality of life or in cases of rape or abuse.
4) Christians hijacked all the pagan festivals and tried to pass them off as their own. Luckily, people are now realising that this has happened.
5) God doesn't exist and never has. How is it possible to blaspheme a fictional character?

The first world war is what did it for Christianity, millions of Christians facing each other across no-mans land, all praying to the same God to give them victory. Clergy men on the front line for all sides. Christ telling people to love and forgive. the 10 commandments, the truth is that Christianity and humans are not compatible. Homosexuality and humans are very much compatible which is why there are so many that are or were. Abortion, not nice but again a human thing. Christmas is a pagan thing that Christians cashed in on. I'd rather be 'selective', as u say, than believe that God would give a rats *** about people's sexual behaviour. As long as all parties agree, no harm done. I think God considers other issues to be problems. Like the mess the world is in (overpopulation and ignorance aren't caused by gays). And I do know that christians do not like to hear this: the truth hurts. It is just wrong that young people suffer, commit suicide, or deceive their loved ones because of their homosexuality.

It is defin a different world today, than when I was growing up.....No one talks about sin anymore....I don't think children can even recite the ten commandments....It is getting close. But there are still many things that must take place before the end comes. I love studying end time prophecy.

I also, thank God everyday for the little book by Hal Lindsey, "The Late Great Planet Earth"...it had a little page in the back to help lead you in a salvation prayer and then you signed it...I've learned a lot since then....So whatever and whenever, it happens, I am ready. I am presuming by your question/s, that you 'are' a christian!

Therefore:

Your religion is a false set of beliefs that have been handed down and changed over many thousands of years, mainly coming from Egypt!

1/ Same sex marriage 'is' and 'should be' allowed, people of the same sex 'do' love each other as much as heterosexual people.
They have been ridiculed & tortured by your religion & others, by a 'false' belief, in the guise that 'god' didnt create them that way!
The gay gene has been proven by science to exist, so homosexual people 'were' born that way, hence they 'are' natural to this world, not against nature, still part of it!

Another point here is that it states in the bible that you should 'not' judge others, or 'you' shall be judged, meaning, its up to the creator, 'NOT YOU' to judge what is right & what is wrong!

Dont you realise that it was another human being that wrote down any 'personal' bad feelings toward homosexuality, NOT your 'god'?

I find it so funny, when reading the bible, the part that covers Sodom & Gomorrah, in it, it mentions 'god's' unhappiness with the people there.
He 'murders' them 'all', apart from Lot & his beloved wife & children.
Although, because of sex, (perhaps ref. to gay sex), gambling etc, 'god' destroys Sodom, allowing 'Lot' to leave with his family, on condition they 'dont look back'.

This is yet another of those "we're right and you're all wrong" questions. The bottom line is this - religions have a lot to answer for, and as another answer has already pointed out more wars have been fought in the name of religion than just about anything else. There is nothing wrong with religion in its purest form, it may give comfort to those who have some or other faith. Where it goes wrong is when fundamentalists start to apply pressure for others to believe as they do, and to live as they do. Muslims in non-muslim countries press for sharia law, christians press for same-sex marriage & abortion to be outlawed, i.e. christian law. Well it doesn't work that way, so the sooner religious extremists keep their beliefs to themselves the better for everyone.
