Many churches are going that route.

They want to be "popular"..........at the expense of changing God

Remember, God's Word is unchanging....also the same..........then, now and in the future

ANy changes are by men and not condoned by God and there will be a price to be paid by these "christians" when it's their turn

Oh Yeah! But, to be fair, the Book of Discipline is supposed to be a practical interpretation and application of scripture for the UMC today. It just doesn't always work out that way in reality. Remember this, the Methodist Church won't be around forever... God's Word will be!

Most likely..........the Methodists - a lot of them - have departed from the message of the Cross............and become socialistic. I can no longer be a part of them.
