Or would you have the pet put to sleep if you could not afford the medication (which has vomiting as a common side effect). Mind you, the medication does not cure but stabilizes a condition. An example: A 14 year old cat.

When I got there, I found out that according to the writer, God doesn't want you to drink or smoke anything, in addition to maintaining a healthy diet. So, does this mean that if you pollute your body with Doritos and Big Macs, are you on the path to Hell, same as a pot smoker?

I'm curious. Let's hypothetically assume they isolated a homosexual gene and developed a way to remove it from a fetus. Do you think it's right or wrong to get rid of the homosexual gene before the baby is born, particularly if homosexuality is against your religious beliefs? Why?

To the arabmuslim lady or whatever that goes around shoving stuff down people's throats in the parenting/pregnancy section. This isn't for you because I already know what you'll say and it will be something stupid. Anyway I've noticed street preachers disturbing parties and mardi gras parades random people handing out bibles and crud. Do you think it should be illegal? I personally do.

For example, "You have really nice skin."

Is it better to say "Thank You" and be done with it? Does that sound conceited?
Or is it better to respond with something like "It's thanks to my parents," or "It's because the water in the area is really nice."

If you are a Christian woman, there should be some degree of modesty, the same as if you are a Christian man. You would not want to cause another to stumble. What if you are a Christian woman, you're proud of your body, and wear a skimpy bikini to the beach. And a young Christian (young as in he just came to Christ) sees you and goes home and masturbates, thinking about you in that skimpy bikini. Have you caused him to sin?

My daughter just now understands the concept of "Some Christians believe that it doesn't matter how good you are. The ONLY criteria for going to heaven is 'accepting Jesus.'"

She sees this as fantastically unfair. "Nothing on earth works like this! School doesn't work like this! You don't get to slack for 12 years and graduate with honors!!"

She says "Mom, ask if someone reasonable can explain this to me!" (She's quite bright. You needent use small words)

I was reading the news stories on the Scottish airport and the men were described as south asian, but they also said that they link this incident to the London plots that were foiled, which is supposedly linked to al-quaeda....When people say Asian, most people will think Chinese or Japanese or Vietnamese...so if it was an Arab or Muslim, the person would have been described as Middle Eastern...So where are the people from?
