Like you give credit to parents and country for being the SOURCE and key to the cycle of life. We live and die, we are born and become parents. But i completely agree with you and thats why i agree with Buddhism more than silly Abrahmic religions. We are told everywhere we have free will and unlimited potential. These are our gifts! The rest comes from experience of how to do it right and the effort to create a great place.

Normally, people are having tendancy that if anything goes wrong or something we are in need of, we'll keep asking god for help or something in our favour. But, suddenly we'll forgot him after the problem resolved. There may also GOD's help be with your try, you may not know. That why, we should give credit to GOD even the things were done only by us.

For a genuine believer in Christ they KNOW what it is to truly be Empowered by the Lord to do all things. HOw to be able to endure and take it a day at a time to grow in the Lord. IN EVERYTHING we give thanks.. because unlike man who likes to get notice for all that he does... God on the other hand provides for us.. He causes the rain to fall on the just and the unjust.. He lets the sun shine for all of us everday and the moon to be there at night... He gives us all air to breathe so that we CAN do anything at all. SO friend... its not a bad thing to learn to give thanks. Even if God works behind the scenes where we do NOT always see and realize. Saying thank you from time time is good.

i think why we give credit to him is because God said we should thank him always i.e whether he has done something for us or not and that is what people are following.

Apparently you haven't hit rock bottem and realized you can't do anything alone .When you do then you will give credit where credit is due and your journey will have reached it's halfway mark.

2 point's kerching :) God spelt backwards is dog and I have two and I give them no credit when they walk on there paws. You aren't the only one who can right a pointless statement !!
