All these religious people said the world was going to end in 2000, and it obviously hasn't since it's 2007, so when is the new time for it? Also....Jesus is a little late........

A lot of people believed the world would end in 2000, now everybody is like the first guy that answered and trying to act like it didn't happen. Don't give me that, i had teachers in my School who believed it too, you can't hide it man, thats like saying the jewish didn't get attacked during the holocaust. Everybody knows it just admit it. And Jesus is suppose to be here in 2000, he's 7 years late.

Your mistake is in assuming anyone but G-d knows when it will be.

Key word is "religious".Christians who study and obey God's Word are not date-setters.The signs are abundant with regards to being in the last of the Last Days.But the Antichrist hasn't been revealed,so I know we are not in the final 42 months of world history.Pop-prophecy teaches the "we'll be gone soon because of this or that event".They set dates using calendars and past events to predict the "rapture".When they fail,they never apologize.They recalculate.And it is these false teachers and televangelists that do the best work for Satan.People like you reject the Truth[Jn.14:6] because of your disgust and contempt over those charlatans.

You are right, lot of people believed it. A catholic priest and his followers took bets with me, I think it was during 1986-87 saying the world would end in 2000.12.31. I spoke to them after a week and they denied the whole thing.

Nothing to do with Christianity though,. The Mayans were incredible astronomers, even passing present day in many areas Many think they knew so much because they were visited by a 3rd party.
Incredibly rare galaxy alignment that we just found out about in the 20th century on that day. Interesting at least.

The end of the world is coming, but it isn't going to be like they expect. When an alien space ship lands on the White House lawn, it will be the end of "the world", and the beginning of "the WORLDS".

it was year 2000 but it's actually gonna be more like 2000 years after Jesus's death... so another 20years give or take then you can ask again... but you most likely won't when the world is actually ending.

Nobody knows the time, even Jesus. Anyone who predicts is a false prophet. If you think Jesus is late, then you put yourself in the category of false prophet. He will come in God's time.
