I am an spiritual automaton and as such I can tell you that being serious all the time is a simple way to facilitate my ideas regarding spirituality. Of course being lost in my ideas wouldn't really be considered spiritual since spiritual implies embracing everything. So I guess I wouldn't really be able to consider myself spiritual if I was serious all the time.
~Anyway that's my "spiritual" embodiment of someone who's serious about spirituality all the time.

ugh. no. please don't be too serious. It makes life unbearable. God wants us to laugh, have fun, and goof around. Not all the time of course, that'd be a little inappropriate at funerals. But no, seriousness is bad all the time. I really have a hard time hanging out with people who are too serious. It's ok in small doses, but too much all the time is just boring. don't be serious all the time, it's not "spiritual" at all. God wants us to enjoy the life, people, and experiences He's given us.

Because if you belive in it alot your seirous about it. and its like football you get real serious about it and thats pretty much the same thing. And have you seen munks think of them as quite football players.

I don't know why they have to be serious... I think the path to spirituality comes with happiness and happiness comes with fun :-)

When you are serious, you're able to connect better with the one you worship. When you are serious, you are commonly more quiet and focused.
