Before his birth, in the "pre-mortal" world, Christ existed. He was part of the creation of the world and he was the God of the Old Testament. The Prophet Isaiah talks about Christ's pre-mortal existance a lot. Read as a reference.

For catholics, Jesus always existed as God. In the genesis the Verb is Jesus, so he is mentioned there.

When he born he start to life as a human but he is still God. That means for Catholics when Jesus born he starts to be both God and a human being.

Yes. Jesus is God, second Person of the Most Holy Trinity, who is therefore eternal. John tells us that "in the beginning was THE WORD, and THE WORD was with God, and THE WORD WAS GOD". Later we are told that Jesus is "THE WORD made flesh, who dwelt among us". Jesus was God from eternity, but became man at a point in time, by being born of a human mother, who therefore rightfully is regarded by God's Church as "the mother of God".
