You certainly can't do it in the US because of this nifty little provision called separation of church and state. And thank God for it!!

How about we treat the people we commit these acts as the criminals they are? That is what we do with people of other faiths who commit criminal acts. Why should Islam be banned for the acts of a few?. Should we ban Catholicism for a few perverted priests? Or Protestantism because of the KKK?

BTW, if people were to try to ban Islam, not only would it not work, but it would radicalize a much larger percentage of the Muslims, esp. the youth who are so gullible. President Bush was very smart when he said that America is not at war with Islam. (Although I'm not sure that he really believes it.) That is because the more the West does to make Muslims feel that the West is fighting Islam itself, the more fuel the radicals have in their lunatic campaign to win converts to their diabolical cause. That is exactly what happened in Iraq.

I agree that this "religion" like all others that preach harm and anger should be eliminated. However, the Muslim Faith(or any other for that matter) that REALLY believes in their teachings of Peace before Hate, should be a matter of free will and choice for their believers. I am a Christian and I believe my faith is the correct one, but, that doesn't mean I judge and look down on other people's faith. All I Can do is show how Christ has made a difference in my life. But lets not lump all people of a particular race or belief into one. There are good and bad in all beliefs, and it is time for the bad to go!! No matter what the religion or faith. Thanks and have a great day!!

Funny how stuff comes back and bites you in the butt isn't it!

In March 1985, President Reagan signed National Security Decision Directive 166,...[which] authorize[d] stepped-up covert military aid to the mujahideen, and it made clear that the secret Afghan war had a new goal: to defeat Soviet troops in Afghanistan through covert action and encourage a Soviet withdrawal. The new covert U.S. assistance began with a dramatic increase in arms supplies -- a steady rise to 65,000 tons annually by 1987, ... as well as a "ceaseless stream" of CIA and Pentagon specialists who traveled to the secret headquarters of Pakistan's ISI on the main road near Rawalpindi, Pakistan. There the CIA specialists met with Pakistani intelligence officers to help plan operations for the Afghan rebels.4
The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) using Pakistan's military Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) played a key role in training the Mujahideen. In turn, the CIA sponsored guerrilla training was integrated with the teachings of Islam:

Predominant themes were that Islam was a complete socio-political ideology, that holy Islam was being violated by the atheistic Soviet troops, and that the Islamic people of Afghanistan should reassert their independence by overthrowing the leftist Afghan regime propped up by Moscow.5
-------------------------

The USA equipped trained and financed Al Queda (Taliban)to the tune of about three billion dollars over all. They were still giving the Taliban money in the spring of 2001

Not to worry...very soon Jehovah will step in and it will all be history. He is by means of his son Jesus going to wipe every lawless and unrighteous person off the face of the earth.
That's why I keep telling you people you better stop the junk you are doing and pay attention.

God has a plan.....he will bring the stuff mentioned in Matthew chapter 5 on the earth ..like plagues on a global scale..then the war of the invisible realm Armageddon.

Not too many of you out there will survive this unless you start preparing now.
Get off the cell phones and the computers..stop the sailing and bar b Q's because all that is taking what precious time you have away ...you have to catch up...delve into a study of the bible to find out what is required of YOU
.
Remember the scripture that says God loved the world ( of mankind) so much that he gave his only begotten ( first born Jesus) son in order that everyone EXERCISING FAITH in him (Jesus) might not be destroyed but have everlasting life.

Exercising means putting forth extreme strength doing something....Faith.....you must believe and tell others and live your life in thanksgiving that you will be saved.

If this is too much trouble ...well...it's been nice knowing you.

That seems like a practical solution to the end the violence..... Not really, first off it would take decades of bloodshed to enforce this ban in the Middle East, then you have to contend with underground sects that would simply cause more violence in outrage of the ban. Third, you would set an example which would encourage lack of freedoms around the world.

Target the people not the faith.

Everyone hates britian there's nothing special about that. They've made a lot of enemies over the past few centuries.

The french hate them (ask one who isn't a politician), almost all africans hate them, the dutch too (google "boers", the brits invented concentration camps). Asians hate them like the pest because they sold heavy drugs to them. Middle-easterners want their heads. Eastern europeans also hate them since WW2 (they betrayed Poland, they demeaned slavic people in general). The irish hate their guts too.

Seriously... London/Britian NOT getting bombed for a year would be almost more news worthy...

No. You cannot just ban a religion. It's unjust. People have the right to believe in whatever they want. It's in the amendments! Freedom of Speech!

Well, i am do not know what religion are you talking about.

As long as i know only religions of dubious nature who try to make his believers do some worldwide accepted crimes such as rape, mass murder or child sexual harrasment can be prohibited legally.

There is in the world some believers in Satan and others dark religions or beliefs who really believe that mass murder and other atrocities are right only for the sake of it.

People think that in the world there is not believers of Satan, that is the demon, around because they believe in him less than they believe in god, if they believe in god at all.

Only if we ban all religions.

It is only the fanatics of each religion that cause the problems. What about those who go about their business harming no one?

If a few morons of your belief do something atrocious should we ban your belief? How do you ban people's opinions anyhow?

Jihadism does not represent the vast majority of Muslims. The West should deport any "hate mongering"mullahs and others ,even if born in the West.
