I am 14 and was raised Christian.

This year in Science and Geography we learned about the big bang theory and eveolution. These are both quite reasonable and have me questioning religion.

I'm not sure what to do because 99% of me agrees with these theorys but the other 1% is going "you're going to hell. you know that, right?"

Some advice would be nice, please and thanks.

Its not like scientist and killing third trimester babies. They are just taking things that would normally go in the trash and trying to saves lives and reduce suffering with it. What is the problem?

I mostly hate myself... a recovering suicidal adolescent.

And people around me aren't supporting me emotionally.

I know they need support, too.

But I don't have a damn friend in real life.

I don't even want to make online friends because they cant be trusted.

I stare at a square screen, listen to people singing on the stereo, people who don't even care about me. And to think that they're singing for people like me while they go drink their asses drunk.

So can you answer my question?

why is it, that anytime i am reallllly sick, i see a ghost thing coverd in black, walk inside my room and just look at me , sometimes pause and continue walking through wall or window
it happend 3 times
once i was online lookin at ghost pics my dogs started barking and i looked out the window the figure was walking wering all black long coat and a tall black tophat
he looked over his shoulder at me and just disaperd
next time i was sick in my room
he walked through my door and up to my bed then disaperred
the next time i was at my fiances house
reallllly sick again,
the figure came through the wall!! slowly drifted past looking at me!
then went out the window
its realllly scary
sometimes when i sit down in my room and from the corner of my eye i see a figure gliding past really fast outside my door
who is this? my friend said her father saw this figure too and one day he was sitting down and screame 'its back! put his hands in front of him 2 protect, then died

i am not interested in CARS. Therefore, you will not EVER see me in cars section.

similarly, if atheists are NOT INTERESTED in religion, or whatsoever, or God, or some "mythological figure", why would they even bother clicking on "Religion and Spirituality" and answering and questioning?

i am not interested in cars, i WOULD NOT even click on cars section in the first place!

I was praying on the floor..... and I looked out my window and saw a HUGE cross the sky???? has this ever happened to you what do you think it means?

Then later that day i then saw a cloud that looked just like a phoniex bird!!!!!

Comparison Dog’s life and human life
I’m a middle-eastern refugee in Thailand, I’m here since 2001, while I became a refugee and U.N.H.C.R recognized me as a refugee I lost my human Identity, when I compare my current life with Dogs life here, always I wish to be a Dog, when I compare my situation with dog’s situation I’m jealous with dogs. There are many dogs living near my place. The dogs are ugly but everyone loves them. The dogs are stupid but everyone try to teach them. The dogs are dirty but everyone touches and hugs them. The dogs hate people and sometime bite them but everyone say “no problem”. The dogs are lazy and never work but they have home and enough food. The dogs are free to walk around and no one ask them about documentation or visa. dogs are happy because they are dog. In addition, much more items.
How about me! I am not ugly but no one loves me. I am very clever, inventor but no one helps me to study and research. I’m not dirty but no one hug me. I do not hate people, I love people and never hurt them but some people want to kill me. I’m not lazy, I can work 16 hours a day but I have no rights to work. I have no comfort place to sleep as dogs have it. I eat food once a day but dogs eat 3 times. I’m not free to walk around and travel but dogs are. I have teeth pain for 3 years, I have no money to repair it, but the dogs have free operation at good animal’s hospital. I have written rights (human rights) but dog haven’t. So I’m not happy that I’m human.
Is my life comparable with Dog’s life?

It Has right to travel I have no right in real
It Has right to walk outside of its place I have no right in real
It Has right to worship its creator I have no right in real
It Has right to be alive I have no right in real
It Has right to have freedom I have no right in real
It Has right to have shelter I have no right in real
It Has right to have pups I have no right in real

Dog’s ability and me
I can work but dog cant. I can teach good things to people but dog cant. I can help other people but dog cant. I can give good things to people but dog cant. I’m an inventor but dog isn’t. I have many worthy inventions but dog have nothing. I have wisdom but dog have no. and much more items. That why, I wish I was a dog.

I posted a question and most poeple are like Give me abreak WTH is wrong with you ect ect... I gave no backing on my beleive i just asked a question now people just are rude saying my thoughts are wrong! I just don't get it!
I'm hear to learn about religions and why others beleive in it! and if something i watch on tv or i see on the internet how ever if it brings me to question something
why are over half the people hear like in permient attack mode!

When you knock on doors, do you seek to gain a greater understanding of others' faith? Or are you just there to discuss your own beliefs?

About one week ago, i asked a question entitled "Too much religion, too little spirituality?" the question concerned the excessive ehphasis on religion in the R & S section, and the lack of emphasis on spirituality. the question was quite understandable, clearly stated, was non-offensive and non-insultive. Why was my question removed? Has this happened to anyone else around here?
