Yes, if he/she was qualified for the job.

That depends on what definition of pagan you are using. If you are referring to someone who observes a polytheistic religion, as the ancient Romans and Greeks did, then I would say that person is no better or worse than the current crowd of bible thumpers. On the other hand, if by pagan you mean someone who is not religious then YES I would vote for someone like that. At least they wouldn't tell us to go talk to ourselves in large groups (i.e. pray at church). You know, doing stupid things in large groups makes people feel less stupid about doing idiotic things. Carry on you religious nut jobs.

Definitely, if I agreed with their political platform. I like Pagans as you well know Bobby. Rather have a Pagan than a Christian in office any day.

Although, I would be hesitant if they were a real fluffy bunny like Raven SliverWolf. In fact, if they were like her, I would vote against them.

Wrong, that is NOT a weird question. It is a very intelligent and logical one, and one that all Americans should consider.

Does someone's religious beliefs affect how well they could do the job of President? Congressperson? Judge?

It shouldn't, but too often it does. A perfect example is G. W. Bush's admittedly religious based veto of embrionic stem cell research funding, which sentenced millions of humans to continued suffering. So much for "respecting life" (as if his support of torture and the war in Iraq weren't evidence enough of his disregard for human life).

It depends on whether I agreed with their political views. For example, if he/she wanted to turn this into a socialist nation, then I wouldn't be interested. My choice to vote is based on issues, experience, and ability to do the job.

Next year you will be voting in the presidential election. What type of person will you want to lead our country? Will you do objective research to learn about all of the candidates? Will religion be a big factor for you? Your vote will matter as much as mine.

Weird answer: since Christianity has roots in Paganism, we've technically voted in 43 Pagan presidents.

I'll be honest with you, I think it would bother me at the beginning (it's very prejudiced, I never realized this about myself) wouldn't have a problem with people who were Jewish, Buddhist, Muslim, or even atheist. But Pagan...stopped me in my tracks.

Wow...thanks for the question

President of the United States of America? No. Because our country was founded on Christian values, whether people want to believe it or not. We need a God-fearing, God-following man in the Oval Office.

most of them probably are pagans anyway...hah...i mean, to the voters it's just a label...almost every president has claimed to be christian...but are they really?...why don't any of the other answerers realize this?

that would depend on what they stood for the the relevant issues,
if they were running against Hillary, good chance

and I have not found an election where you are voting for the lesser of the 2 "evils" (so to speak)
