Why did God make a promise that he would never flood the earth again and all we here on the news is people looseing their homes and suffering due to floods.

iam a mother of african american heritage my husband is caucasian, We are foster parents that are adopting and I have had so many look at me with contempt or as though I'm the sitter or other woman. It just seems so unfair especially when a child has a home they need. All comments will be gladly recieved!

Hitler told the Germans he was a Christian on a God Ordained Mission and they bought it.
The KKK are all Christian, right?
Most mainstream protestant churches are getting more and more liberal every day, even allowing things that were unspeakable 100 yrs ago, and they ere "Christian".
Now the one and only true "Christian Church" on Planet Earth , the Mormons, want to be considered (the one and only true) Christians.
I say let them have it.

I live on what is real, more real than this life. Ok let me ask you a question. Now since you do not have the faith, can you prove to me Heaven, Hell does not exist? And just because you cannot see it does not mean they do not exsist. I have had experiences that I will not tell you about. That is preivate and personal, but what I will tell you again just because you cannot see God, Heaven and Hell does not mean that they do not exist. You cannot disprove the supernarural,just because it has not been revield to you. For me I do not have to see something to believe. Like if I am taling on the phone to someone about my bills, I cannot see that person but I believe she is there because I am talking to her. Same with the bible you were not there when the great flood flooded the earth, you were not there when God made man, you were not there when Moses parted the Red sea, you were not there when Jesus died on that cross, but it is ok for you to believe Julius cesor that you have not met

when people refer to muslims they only think of the arbs, or those who are from the middle east or those that are from india...why do people not accept or understand that islam is a multicultural religion which is widely spread...there are arabs, Asians, black, white, Irish, chinese, Caribbean...etc...islam is not for a specific group of colour…it’s a diverse religion…I am black and I’m a muslim, hoever I am not a terrorist.
The terrorist business is more a political thing, but they jus use Islam to cover up…how many white, black, irish, Chinese muslims do u c killing innocent people…I don’t believe in terrorism n islam doesn’t call on it’s followers to become terrorist either…jihad doesn’t mean killin the innocent in the name of Allah…

But I want to know this-Why is it that I never hear any islamic people denounce the violence and suicide bombings? To this day I have NEVER heard 1 muslim say anything? Why is that? I have heard them say bad things, but never anything else? You would thnk that people would be saying 'no, this is not what we believe in or this is not Islam, these people are bad' but no, nothing! This is not meant to be sarcastic or hateful as well, so please do not tale it that way. But can muslims understand why narrow minded people might tar them with the same brush because of this? I also take the point that it is not up to everyone to spologise for the minority-fine. But a religion that is proud and righteous surely would want to try and disassociate from these evil factions/

I feel very sad and angry, every time I hear of an innocent person being murdered for no reason. Old men off ninety, children, women..etc. I definitely think they should re-introduce Capital punishment in the UK. It would also bring down the prison population, as prisons are bursting at the seams....

I believe in Heaven and Hell as I am a chrisitan, but for you non believers who do not have any hope, is your only hope of death not existing anymore and going back to the ground of dust from where you came the only belief about death you have and just being another face on the earth at one time and for ever not existing? How scared would you be knowing you are dying at home or hospital thinking like that, would you be so terrified that you would call out to God or just lay there dying not knowing what fate awaits you?

the organised religions of the world at present would not exist as they are if it were not for it being taught.
though if these did not exist,
humans would be bound to think up some other story, its part of the patronistic & creative human condition.

the problem is that people who would persue supernatural beliefs, start to meld with each other for benefit in numbers, thus forming mishmash doctorines.then hey presto, an organised religion.
