We were attacked by Muslims on 9/11 they hide in a Muslim country that accepts them. Yes the ones that attacked us twist this faith. But those that are the true Muslims have done little to assist us in apprehending these criminals. So all we have is the Terrorist as an example of that faith. Has any Muslim country ever captured and returned known terrorist to America for justice? Its this very inaction is what cause the hate that is building. That cause Americans to distrust Muslims. We see images of our flag and President Bush burned Yet why? We sent aid to these country. Spend billions on their oil and still a majority live in squalor. Why aren't they helping us take down their leaders that do nothing to bring them to 1st world standards? Many other countries have far less GPA and have a better standard of living.

Who is sterotyping all Muslim 2 be like them? You of all people, a muslims must understand what motivates these "terrorist". They are NOT your average political militants, but devout muslims who truly believe that Jihad has been called upon and all that oppose Allah's rule have to be punished. They get their inspiration to commit these acts of terrorism from the Quran and the islamic hadiths. And no, they are not a tiny minority. Look at Pakistan...the entire religious elite there are now calling for the honouring of Osama Bin Laden.
What muslims like you have to do is not to tell us not to hate islam, the religion. What you have to do is to educate your co-religionist, these "terrorists" that your version of islam, ie the peaceful version is the authentic form of islam and their version is not. Unfortunately, you can't and won't do it because you have no backing. The Quran doesn't support your peaceful position and neither does the islamic hadiths. These terrorists get their knowledge of islam from these scriptures and unless you can convince them that the verses of jihad from the Quran is not islamic, I don't see how you can convince anyone that their version of islam is not the true islam.

They are racist which is also known as being afraid they are saying "oh look something that is different, but I don't do the wrong thing so they must be bad we better hate them just in case". Ignorance that has been passed down through the generations along with a little stereotyping is the recipe for disaster and the worsts side of humans as we know them.

Maybe if there werent so many RECOGNISED muslim clerics standing in the street telling people to "behead the infidels" They wouldn't have this reputation.
There is no smoke without fire. If you want people to stop judging Islam, then you must stop people carrying out acts of terror in the name of Allah.
Shia and Suni are murdering eachover, how can you expect the world to love you when you turn on eachover.
I have seen Muslim protests, when you see several thousand people holding signs preaching death, and burning the flag of your country how are you meant to feel. There is always the defence: Its just a few extremists, there are THOUSANDS amongst your millions that is too many.
As usual you are blaming everyone but yourself, I have Muslim friends that are good people.

It's the total lack of outrage from the Muslim community that makes us angry. None of your leaders have come out publicly to denounce these terrorist attacks. When will all the peace-loving Imams, and other Muslim leaders come out and instruct their followers not to follow the terrorists' example? When will they seriously oppose them?

because all news media directly points to the people in that religion and lumps them in the same group. that group being zealot crazy Muslim terrorists. Obviously they are not all like that but that's what we as Americans see and hear everyday on the news.

Sister, it's the shaytaan whispering the hatred people act on. It's also our nature in general to dislike or even hate things or people we are unfamiliar with. Most people, in my opinion, are able to rise above that.

Some people can't understand because ignorance is an absolute necessity: If you remembered everything you would become disfunctional. If you remembered all the pain you would obsess on it.

its just the nature of human beings. For the most part its just natural to put down others who don't have the same beliefs or don't believe in the same things as you.
