I will put two hands up for that one. Death is better than to live in this world. This world has NOTHING to offer that is good. Who wants to be absent from the body and present with the Lord? I do, and sooner the better. I did not take my medication this morning as I got up too late. But I look forward to the day where I do not have to take medication anymore. Bring on death. I will not comitt suicide as it will land me in hell, although I have though about it many times. And yes I still get tempted. How many other christians on here wants to leave this earth too? For me sooner the better, I have nothing here, excpet Jesus and the Father with me, but being with the Lord is much better than staying here. It would be good if the adverage life span was 40, then I would probablly be home already as I am 38 and sick and tired of this crappy life. I find when ever I forget to take my medication I feel like crap, and want to die. So I look forward to the day I will not have to take

not just because i speak spanish, but it hurts my ear when i hear someone refer to miami as "my-am-mee" there clearly is a letter "i" in there twice(mee-a-mee) . come on, you can do it, you don't have to be latino to say it correctly,lol. can you say Colorado, yup. what about San Diego(sandy eggo), you would never say (san die-go). same goes for french. jean pierre(john pee-air) of course you know all of this..um.. hopefully. pronoucing miami correctly will not make you look like a moron just because you are not latino or a spanish speaker for some it is actually attactive to put a little accent to certain words(wink wink, call me...).

I recently bought a t-shirt from the cleveland museum of natural history. There is a huge church yard sale like thing by my house. i plan on going, i plan on buying about 15 dollars worth of stuff. But i am wearing my shirt i bought from the museum that says (evolution happens) and on the back there are stages of man. I believe in the ideals of the church, but not its ideas. Meaning i believe that trying to help a community is a great ideal i will fully support (by buying stuff) but ideas too right wing (evolution didnt happen) i cannot say i agree with at all. (ps im going to a non denomonational church)
so will i be rude if i wear my evolution shirt, but support their cause?

This guy is relatively harmless, but the neighbors say he is schizophrenic. He doesn't work, and frequently is up late at night on his porch naked wearing only a black "dungeons and dragons" robe. He also makes weird comments to my wife, I'm pretty sure it's obvious he's somewhat obsessed with both of us, especially her. Now, add to that we just had a baby girl, and I'm worried that something could happen. Again, he is relatively harmless, and he means well (frequently cuts our lawn and "helps" with things), but he's not playing with a "full deck of cards". Again, moving is out of the question right now, for at least a few years.

I went to the Westboro Baptist Church website after answering another question and could not believe what I was seeing. Look at the following quote conderning the Virginia Tech shootings:

Underlying question here: would you be willing to lose some of your rights to free speech to stop these loonies? I am not sure I would but there has to be a way to deal with these nuts but then again, I may have answered my own question: You can't reason with nuts.

Im having issues with some females that live in my apartment complex. They don't know me but they don't like me. They don't share the same kind of values i do. I carry myself like a lady, i go to school, and i work part time to support my 2 children. I don't hang out, and i stay to myself and i am quiet. one of the girls wrote on my air conditioning unit "monica wuz here and I hate bitches" I knew she was talking about me. my friend told me to read palms 109 every day to keep the enemies away. what can i do about these females that keep bothering me? i just want to live in peace. is it true that reading this scripture will keep the enemies away? what does it really mean?

Our admin assistant is a smoker, and sometimes she has these terrible coughing fits! I don't know if I should say "are you okay?" or say nothing because obviously it's the smoking that causes it. It doesn't really bother me that she coughs, I just don't know if I should rush over there and act concerned or let her cough it out.

This question is inspired by the fact that at LEAST once a day, someone comes on here wondering if religious people should be banned from teaching their children about their religion. So since SOME atheists seem to think it's okay to tell religious people how to raise their children, is it okay for religious people to do the same? No?
I know this is kind of more of a statement than a question, but I really am tired of people trying to say that children shouldn't be taught their parents' religion. *I* don't feel it's ANYONE'S business what a parent teaches their child, so long as they're taught the difference between right and wrong, and they're not abused. If atheists want to raise their children as atheists, that's THEIR business, isn't it?
Should parents have to not express their opinions at ALL for fear that their children MIGHT, oh heaven FORBID, turn out like them? Does anyone else see how stupid this idea is?
