My boyfriend is a cross dresser and wants me to take him out dressed as a woman. I would like to do this but we are both worried about peoples reactions. I don't want him to lose his confidence if he is ridiculed. What experiences have you had? Where did you go?

I dress as a girl every chance I get,mostly a weekend girl though..i dress from head to toe..nails,make-up everything..i have naturaly long hair so no need for a wig.i love being in public doing my errands and shopping.never really had any bad reations,had a lot of people say I look pretty..you should take him to a gay bar where nobody will judge,that was my first time in public..since then I built up more courage to go out more publicly..have fun with it,if he's willing..hug's

Personally I consider myself transgendered and am working towards gender re-assignment..
But know how much a "knock back" can damage confidence.
You don't say where you're based,but if you're in the UK and able to get to Manchester, 22-23 June there is a weekend of events and meetings for all who like to dress cross gender.
