It stops To think and one remembers that while you coexist egoistic people who (the times) only help you because they know that they will gain something in exchange [FOR EXAMPLE I WHO SO I ANSWERED You TO CHOOSE MINE AS BETTER REPLY (trick)] god is the only one that he gives the chance to see the light of the sun all morning to you and does not charge you nothing therefore…

"I want to believe because ignorance is bliss.." What the heck does that mean? Are you trying to tell me that you have proof that God does not exist that people who believe in God are ignorant of? Please share it.
Perhaps not believing God exists is ignorant. I am not a religious person but I believe there is a Creator. There is really only one choice to make:
Either somebody created all of the matter in the universe or all of the matter in the universe always was. Which is correct is unknowable.
Getting myself to believe that there was no Creator is utterly impossible. It seems far more likely that some power greater than mere matter, on some much higher level created it. Especially since we can mathematically prove the existence of other dimensions.

Just look at it this way- only God could have created the whole human race , all the animals, and all of nature. Think of all the miracles. Also, look at how many pple in this world are christian. If there was no God, why would these pple put so much time into nothing? PPle -like at Mejugorie-have experienced visions and miracles. As long as you open up to God and don't turn away from him, he will bring you back to the church. Hope I helped! God does not want you to be a lost sheep.

Why are you drawn to this question so often? If there is a God, perhaps He instills within all our minds the desire to know the truth of His existence. How does believing in God make you ignorant of anything? What have you to lose if you do believe in God? Don't be a Christian if it doesn't suit you. Find an understanding of the world that just seems to fit and makes you truly content with your life. Good luck.

First of all you need to stop trying. I think that beliefs come when you are at peace with everything around you and within you. I suggest finding what does make you happy (I'm talking about anything here, not just religion) and figure out why that makes you happy. Do some reading, I suggest Lamb by Chris Moore, or The Satanic Verses by Rushdie. Both these are fiction books that deal with discovering or re-discovering faith. Also Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk is a great book about faith if you read it in the right context.
it really does seem to me that returning to Christianity, at least for now, would just make you more miserable. Learn everything you can and stop trying to make yourself believe that there is only one answer.
What makes me happy is realizing that I know absolutely nothing. that and the beach. and girls. and my dog. and books. and everything. and...

I can relate. Sorta. last July (about a year ago) I met this guy. We became really good friends and then we dated. Everything was fine. We lived almost 300 miles apart, so we talked every other day. We both were very strong Christians and even had met at a Christian camp. Then in December he told me he thought we should break up bc he was feeling further away from God bc he had been focussing to much on me. I had too, but it really depressed me. And I stayed depressed untill a couple of weeks ago. In that time I felt far away from God. Sometimes I even questioned His exsistence. But I continued to read my Bible. And I got through it. It'll be ok. Just pray and read His word.

You do not believe? Why would you ever want to believe something you know it is false? Do you want to live in lie? Are you willing to lie yourself?
I don't think so, you are here not because your luck in believe. It's because you can't be happy anymore. But you don't care about believing or God, you care about your happiness. No wander you left God. You maybe don't love Him.
If you've been a real Christian maybe you experience what king David did when wrote Psalm 32. See, even though you rejected Him, He did not reject you. And what you feel is a result of He's loving call for your heart.
Get on your knees and answer that call.

You may have had very little knowledge of Christianity and you have learned a lie that has taught you otherwise. Forget the lie and listen to what God is telling you in your heart.
You may have had little faith but remember that even if you have the faith of a mustard seed you can tell this mountain to get up and jump into the sea and it has no choice. Also remember that a mustard seed grows to be one of the largest trees on the planet and its fruit is very strong. Grow in spirit like the mustard seed grows and watch your world become flavoured by the fruit you are producing.
God Bless

“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world” (Psalm 19:1-4). Looking at the stars, understanding the vastness of the universe, observing the wonders of nature, seeing the beauty of a sunset – all of these things point to a Creator God. If these were not enough, there is also evidence of God in our own hearts. Ecclesiastes 3:11 tells us, “…He has also set eternity in the hearts of men…” There is something deep down in our beings that recognizes that there is something beyond this life and someone beyond this world. We can deny this knowledge intellectually, but God’s presence in us and through us is still there. Despite all of this, the Bible warns us that some will still deny God’s existence, “The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God.’” (Psalm 14:1). Since over 98% of people throughout history, in all cultures, in all civilizations, on all continents believe in the existence of some kind of God – there must be something (or someone) causing this belief.

Go off by yourself or find a place to be alone with your bible.
Let the book kinda open to a random scripture, and read a few verses. At this point you may receive your answer. Even if you do this next part is important. Put your hands in the air, close your eyes, and out loud- not to loud if you are uncomfortable- Say "Jesus I praise you!" Try different words like love you, exalt you. You will feel his presence, you may even get goose bumps.
Welcome back...you never left.
