In the parable of an Attitude of a Servant (Lk17:10), Jesus tells Christians that what they should say about themselves is "We are unprofitable servants; we have done what we are obliged to do." A Catholic Bishop will refer to himself as an unworthy servant in respect to God.

Jesus also calls Christians His friends. In Jn5:13-15, Jesus says that He no longer calls Christians His slaves but HIs friends.

What Christian doesn't know the Lord's Prayer (Mt 6:9) where Jesus not only allows but commands Christians to pray, "OUR Father," telling Christians that they are God's children.

Please tell me your stories of being not only an unworthy servant or friend but also a child of God. Please tell specific stories where you know that God has interacted with you in your life.

i know what i'm asking.. just think he is not supposed to be lord.... he was having snakes in his neck as a garland....he chaped the head portion of a baby elephant and attached to his son (ganesha) in order to survive him..... he was sitting on the leather of tiger and also wore the skin of tiger as clothes......he used to have toxic item and able to digest them....
He totally does crime on animals as he kills them...

Do God ever KILL animal??????
Is he supposed to be lord??????
On what basis people WORSHIP him?????

I want ur answers....... after this conclusion....

It's in my opinion that if God (this is under the premise that He exists) created a world, universe, anything and everything i imagine he could create a couple of dinosaur fossils and evidence of evolution being a possible theory...

like basically all the "facts" that many evolutionists are so geared to believe may have just been planted there for them to find by God so that becomes a possibility of our existence... Why would he do it tho?

Take into consideration the time we live in of information and technology, it's a very different place now. So if we did discover the world was only 6,000 years old after carbon testing then all signs would point him but i think ALOT of people would be uneasy about it.

That would also mean He'd be under constant pressure and expected to make this world perfect whereas it's up to us not Him.

I just think God has His own agenda, and us making all these discoveries is part of it, possibly to determine who's truly devout to Him?

In the Holocaust, millions of people were put to death for being of the wrong religion or ethnicity, or being disabled. During the slavery in America a whole lot of Africans were sold into slavery by their fellows and forced to work under really harsh conditions.

Which was worse? I'm not saying either one was acceptable, but one has to be worse than the other.

Discovery channel last night had information about pagans and how christans took them over! wouldn't that make christand pagan..
How do we not know that the devil didn't right the bible to trick us
making us thing that the bible is good.. the more i see in the bible it's more depends and if you don't follow that your marked off as a sinner or evil or you side with the devil..
what happened to the Grey area not everything is black in white...

i know i can't ask for proof cuz we all are just taking that blind leap of faith to have faith in something or other..

and why is it that the first religion is so wrong (pagans) is it because they didn't stand up for them selfs when the christans took over? and why did the christans take over? could they just not get a long! seems more govermental to me!

Christians get accused of this all the time, but the ones I know do have a sense of humor. Muslims are always wanting to kill someone for "insulting" them or their prophet or the quran. Christians don't do this.

I had a baby last year and now I'm due in a few months. My friends want me to have a baby shower, but I don't know if I should, I was told that it is tacky to have a baby shower after the first baby. I threw my cousin a baby shower a few days ago and this is her 9th baby. No one said anything and she's had them with all of her kids. What I'm asking really is it really tacky to have a baby shower the second time, should I tell them I don't want one?

Look, I believe that racism is wrong. Attacking the color of any person's skin is not only wrong but shows a great ignorance. Look I am a real person. Until I got pregnant, I smoked cigarettes. I don't smoke right now, but after I have my daughter I just might. I am a meat eating nut. Give me a steak and a potato and I devour it. I wear leather shoes and own several real leather purses. As soon as I can find the best one, I am going to buy a real fur coat. I use aerosol hair spray and never use public transportation. It is a rabbit or something that keeps eating my flowers and he will meet his maker. I refuse to live my live fiber deficient. What is the problem? Why must everything be such a federal case. When are people going to just relax and live?

I have been seeing a girl (as friends) for 3+ weeks now and have grown quite fond of her. We have played pool, we jog together, danced at a wedding, watched a movie, she made me dinner at her house... lots of fun things, but she is very strict in her Mexican/ Catholic culture and I am wondering if it is too soon to ask if I can be her boyfriend. I believe that she /does/ have an interest in me as a boyfriend and that is why I don't know if I should push it on her too soon. The timing never seems right to ask her because her culture is so much different than what I am used to. Also, since she isn't allowed to be flirtatious in any way, it makes my feelings seem one-sided. I could use all of the help I can get. I'm looking for some good advice on how to get this relationship going without the fear of offending her beliefs. Also, some creative ideas for asking her or some spanish words of love would be appreaciated. Thx in advance!

Hi there, on today Yahoo! homepage, people are blogging about a "Cat that looks like Hitler." With my personal opinion, I do believe that matter is not just simply a "Cat that looks like Hitler." As the same theory states that dinasaurs are revolved into birds, maybe this is just a simple fact that Hitler has revolved into cat! Agree ? Any comments or feedbacks are very welcome !

So we finally finished high school! I'm pretty sure I will never see him again, but he says he will call me one day to go out to eat or just to hang around. I fell in love with this boy. I want him, I covet him everyday, everyday I saw him at school! Soon I’ll be leaving for college and I know I'll find someone out there, but I fear it'll be hard getting over him!! This guy was perfect…perfect for me!! He has everything I’m looking for in a guy!!!! We never did anything and I’m going crazy for him!! My head keeps giving me false hope that he might just be gay, but I have this ugly feeling he is not!! I just found out he has some girlfriend! Does that truly mean anything? Does it? I never told him how I felt about him, never told him one of his friends was gay-me! I feared he would mock me, would ridicule me, would degrade me, would hurt me. But he already has hurt me by teasing me in so many ways!! His gay remarks and actions towards me, only me, make me believe he is gay. He touches me, tells me he wants to have sex with me, tells me to touch him, to hold his penis (but I have never held it, but have touched his butt) !! Would it be a bad idea to meet with him again in the future or during the summer? Would it? I don't know if he is gay...I sure do hope he is and pray he is! I'll I’m asking if for help. Help in forgetting about him, help in moving on, help in finding myself! Help me…please help me! Help me get over him! I’m lost and it’s fu**ing terrifying!
