Atheists have a wide variety of "core beliefs". It's not like we're a religious group with defined creeds. "Atheist" simply describes people who don't believe in gods.
Atheism itself does not involve faith, of course, though individual atheists certainly believe certain things on the basis of faith.

An atheist is person that does not believe in the existence a god or gods.(no real core exist atheist is a title not really a group.) The core belief of a christian is christ and god and the rest of the beliefs vary by what religious group they are with(this is just what I understand of it not necessarily correct). It is hard to speak and represent any other atheist on this matter but for me I have faith in other humans, I have faith in myself and I have faith that everything in life can be worked out by and handled by ordinary human beings.

Core belief? Hmmm, not sure I have a core belief, certainly not one derived from atheism. As an atheist, I don't believe there is any god or gods. That's it. The rest of my beliefs are derived from life experience.
I live my life with these in mind: Be kind and helpful to others (note this does not mean be a doormat), protect the earth, strive for peace, laugh often.
edit: core belief of a Christian? Wouldn't that vary as well, from person to person? On here I see a lot of Christians who are self-important, and others who are kind and open.. but I refuse to say what their core beliefs are. Who am I to say?

Can't speak for atheism, only for christianity. The core belief is that Jesus Christ is the son of God and that the only way for salvation comes through receiving God into your heart. Faith has alot to do with christianity for me because no one has ever seen God.

core belief of and atheist- no god
core belief of a Christian-God is almighty, allknowing, and powerful. He is wonderful and deserves our praise and worship. He is good and pure! Jesus died on the cross to save us from eternal damnation to hell and all we have to do is admit we are sinners and ask for His forgiveness!
you need faith to believe in God but you also have proof such as miracles, love, Bible etc.
Im a Christian can you tell? lol! â¥

Atheism= there is no God
Christianity= God created the world, sin entered because of man, God saved humanity through Jesus Christ
Faith has everything to do with both beliefs.

Atheism has no core belief, no more than not believing in Zeus is a "core belief" of Christians.
The core belief of all Christians is that Jesus Christ both existed, and was divine.

My core belief is that no god that has been postulated by mankind to date can be demonstrated to exist, there is no necessity to such existence, and there is no logical reason to assume such existence. This is why I am an atheist.
I can't speak for other atheists or any Christians.

That there is no god.
That there is a god and Jesus is his son.
It only takes faith to believe in things that you don't have evidence for. Disbelieving should always be the default position otherwise you would be stuck with a lot of crazy stuff.
