Christians get accused of this all the time, but the ones I know do have a sense of humor. Muslims are always wanting to kill someone for "insulting" them or their prophet or the quran. Christians don't do this.

Soleil Noir, with all due respect, the Crusades were how long ago? There's no one around now who participated.

Mugg, I asked a sincere question. I'm not personally acquainted with Pat Robertson, so I can't speak for him.Thank you for the compliment, but I'm not quite a genius--my IQ is only 139. I am a true Christian as well--feel free to read my profile.

Luv Peace, I'm not in the habit of deliberately insulting people & I agree that insults are not usually funny. I know very well what a joke is--I also understand sarcasm & condescension.

I know what you mean, but my Muslim friends are not that way; although they do admit that Arabs as a whole are a very high-strung people. Why? I don't know and neither do my friends.

And on the other hand, they can be the nicest and most friendliest of folks to have around. For real.

Muslims have a sense of humor but insulting someone's belief, religion or prophet is not considered funny. You guys probably have a sick sense of humor if you think that's funny. A joke is funny..do you want me to define to you what a joke is? If christians think insulting someones beliefs, religion, culture is funny then they have a very low self esteem.

I am a Muslim. I do get angry and upset when anyone insults my prophet and my God's word the same way if they insult my parents or my loved ones. Of course these things do not make me "want" to kill. I believe its the same for all Muslims. This is because we respect our Prophet and the Quran a lot. And we also know the difference between a Joke and Sarcasm.

That's some pretty hefty generalizations you are making there. Most of my muslim friends have not only a great sense of humor, but a wonderful peace and joy in life. And you obviously haven't been paying attention. Pat Robertson called for the assination of Chavez - no there's a great Christian for you.
Any more brilliant, insightful observations genius?

oh for pete's sake, another person painting a huge population with one brush.
do you personally know any muslims? Probably not.
I do, and they all of them have marvelous senses of humor.
In fact, I also know a great many so called Christians, many of whom are judgemental, as you are, and have absolutely no sense of humor whatsoever. Should I then paint all Christians as humorless bigots? Of course not.

i guess its cuz muslims are serious ppl, who are pious and dedicated to religion at all times, but that doesnt mean they dont have a sense of humor, even if one doesnt, that doesnt mean that u can stearotype all the 2.som billion muslims as not have a sense of humor

Would you have a sense of humor if you lived in the middle east? Seriously, would you?

Lumping all people into the same category does not serve accuracy/truth well. People are all individuals.
