I didn't think we still had a middle class. I thought it was either rich or poor but then what do I know??/

No,that is history.Most people need 2 or 3 incomes to live a middle class lifestyle.It's gone in reality.

Yes... about 70% of americans are middle class. if you want to split hairs, you can get into lower and upper middle class, but all are middle class, nonetheless.

No. It should be but its mostly working class, then middle, then poor, then upper middle, then rich.

"middle class america" is rapidly disappearing, they are being taxed into poverty, soon we will be a country of the very rich and the very poor and nothing in between, who will they tax then to support the infrastructure?

Probably. However we are discussing an income range between $25,000-$99,999. Lot of room for error.
