Do you let other users here on Y/A send you personal email?
Now I know why a lot of people here don't' allow others to send them personal email. I got this whining email from this "obviously" disturbed person complaining too me about one of my answers. LoL!!! He was quite emotional about it, and all I have to say is now I understand why people block their email address from this place. I've allowed emails to be sent to me since I started this account last year, and have had no problems with anyone, but now I'm blocking it off because I don't want to read someone's whinings. What about you? Do you allow access or do you block personal emails? Just curious.

Many pagan, earth centered religions seem to have a feminine side to them by focusing on nature, fertility, and nurturing. Some of the most prominent modern religions focus more heavily on rules, punishment, war, and wrath, more masculine features. I know these concepts are gender stereotypes, but it's not an uncommon impression.

Even if I would try desperately...
I can't bring myself to think of homosexuals as sinners.
I can't bring myself to think that abortion is wrong in all cases.
I can't bring myself to think euthanasia is wrong in all cases.

I believe in freedom for anybody, as long as they don't hurt others. God seems to be having a bit of a problem with that very simple, basic concept.

Why on earth should I accept Jesus into my heart, and with that start to condemn my few gay friends, that 14 year old raped girl who desperately needed an abortion, that very ill 91 year old man who is begging for euthanasia, etc, etc. ?

After reading these posts, it's easy to conclude:

You were born gay, it's not a choice.
If you have gay thoughts, then you're gay.
If you have sex with someone of the same gender, that's proof that you're gay.
If you have sex with someone of the same gender, you are not be gay if you're just doing the actions.
People can't change once they are gay, if they leave the lifestyle, then they are bi, lying to themselves, or just doing the actions.
If you are gay, then you have to tell everyone that you're having sex with others of the same gender.

So in the end, how do you know if someone is really gay, or going through the motions? How do you separate real gay people from the posers? Is there a test?

I was raised in a Christian family and have always believed in Jesus Christ as my Savior. I believe that he died on the cross to give me eternal life. Yet I have been told by some that if I change my sex, I will not be allowed in Heaven after I die. I don't want to spend eternity in Hell, but I also don't want to spend the rest of my life here on earth as a man.

Do you truly not see the difference?

A sheep does not have free will to do what he wants...

But, what two consenting adults do, is between them...and does not affect an innocent.

So, why does gay marriage threaten the fundamentalists so?

Especially, if you put away the memorized Bible verses that you will regurgitate....that you have been taught to use in this exact scenario...what threat are gay people to our world?

Doesnt the bible state that any attempt to communicate with the dead will get you a one way ticket into the lake of fire?

I have been researching the Mormon religion and I am now convinced that millions of people are being deceived in this world.

and what about all of these GREAT and powerful cities mentioned in the BOM.. where did they go? and the idea that Native Americans are ancient Israelites who crossed the Pacific Ocean in a boat.... DNA evidence and HISTORY shows that they crossed the Bering Strait into America.

I am in no place to judge another person's religion, that would be a sin, but I just cant buy into it. my wife's family are morman and it is really hard to ask them anything without feeling like I offended them. I just want some answers.. thanks guys

I'm studying Java. and im not in college yet. I wanna create a program for teens, I see these kids on myspace and it got me thinking that i should make a program, just like myspace, it's gunna be a chatroom, instant messaging, profiles and blogs, and those profiles will determine if that person has myspace. You can look at myspace profiles without connecting to the internet.
This Software should also come with a P2P file sharing software like Kazaa and Limewire. Where they can download music and feature length movies free. Dial-up users will download all this stuff fast with no problems at all.

But, I think teens are expected to know the guidelines of internet safety, and I will not take responsibility if that child gets abducted and killed. and the age limit should be 14, it's the law.(i think)

What do you guys think? What are your suggestions? Is this program even possible to make with Java?

Also please star this question! I need alot of ideas!

what to say with out coming on too creepy and strong. Say the girls are laying on the beach on their towels, it takes b##ls to go up to them, what if they reject you, you feel like a smuck. Im average looking, not some hot stud with a tan and huge junk with muscles.

I am reading previous questions and I am finding that SOME people who don't believe in God act as if they are better or pointing out imperfections of Christians like "many gang members are Christians" Can you really base ALL Christians in that catagory.....Can you base ALL Christians to be good? Can you really base Most Atheists to be better people? (like some have said) Can you base ALL to be bad? I have seen some Atheists to be more cocky, so to speak, about answer questions. I also find that some Christians are a little cocky. One group can't say they are better than the other because news flash neither of the groups are acting better! I am a Christian and I don't think Atheists are worse than Christians because I see us as people being individuals and believing what we want. Isn't that enough? fearing God is not the only reason most Christians do good it is in Human nature. Christians and Atheists do good for the well being of our communities Christians also do it for God.
