without letting them back on the streets because there is no room for them, which is how they are dealing with it now?

O Mankind, serve your Lord Who has created you as well as those before you; do so that you are saved. It is He Who has made the earth a resting place for you, and the sky a canopy, and sent down water from above with which He brought forth fruits for your sustenance. Do not, then, set up rivals to God when you know (the truth). [The Qurán 2:21-22]

Your God is One God, there is no God but He; the Merciful, the Compassionate. (To guide) those who use their reason (to this truth) there are many signs in the creation of the heaven and the earth, in the constant alternation of night and day, in the vessels which speed across the sea carrying the things which are of profit to men, in the water which God sends down from the heaven thereby quickening the earth after its death, in the scattering of every kind of animal in the earth, and in the courses of the winds and the clouds pressed into service between heaven and earth. [The Qurán 2: 163-1

Three thousand people dying in a terrorist attack in horror and agony.

Sexual predators preying on children.

Enron leaving workers and investors broke.

Does God look upon this as part of his ultimate plan and say it's all good?

Or is it that "God" (if you think that way) is not omniscient because that directly conflicts with the idea of free will?

You can't really have it both ways, omniscient God and people with free will.

So going with the premise of omniscient God, can anything be considered bad if it's in the plan? I mean that makes it all necessary, not bad or evil.

is there such a thing as partial ignorance?
like if I talked to voices, did secret rituals, and destroyed society and the world in a dream as a child and I did this willfully, will I be held accountable even though I was fourteen and didn't really know the reality of the situation at the time?

Just out of curiosity, how do you explain plants surviving being under water for 150 days?... There is no reasonable way they could survive, unless there was direct divine intervention (in which case, why not just let animals survive underwater all this time). If you're going to claim seeds were collected, how exactly did Noah collect Australian and South American plant seeds?...

Were you born there and just never left the area? Did you move because of a job or family or a friend? And if you moved to another state or country, what made you decide to go through with it? Do you like it better than your hometown?

For example; there is a wart on your back but you can not feel it or see it. Therefore it does not exist.
Even if you were dead forever there would be no perception of time and thereby U would not be dead.
In conclusion there must be eternal life/perception.
How do you disagree with this?

For the time that I have been on Yahoo Answers, I have only seen a very small persentage of Agnostic users. I would love to hear from them on more of my questions. I really think that they have the most unbiesed and intellegent answers.

Does it never occur to you that the problem isn't whether God keeps trials in managable doses for believers, but instead you never get to talk to the people who DID get more than they could handle?

Dead people don't give uplifting testimonial speeches in church, after all.

As I read the many questions and concerns about the Royals? I do agree, they are living a life style which is beyond the norm of living. When thinking that million's of British citizen perhaps live on the existence minimum. So does your Democracy give you not the Right to condemn them? They are of no use any way. And don't give me that grap about the Tourist Attraction. Tourists come to Britain for many reasons, not because of the Royals. LOL

In a previous question I found a couple of answers saying that Muslim women are oppressed/ brainwashed/ or that they are dillusioned, just because they wear hijab.

Why is it so hard for some people to believe that a woman can "choose" to be covered and not necessarily be 'brainwashed' or 'oppressed'?

consider this. assuming you believe in the story of creation, how many of you would rather take the word of a talking snake over an omnipotent, all-knowing god? in order for one to do what adam and eve did, would require their brain to be so poorly developed that it would be further back in the evolution of man than early primates.

I was surprised to find out today that neither my mom, or dad have read the whole Quran in translation. Of course we all have read it in Arabic..... So I am sure there are other Muslims who have not read the translation, and I am sure there are other Christians who have not read the bible but are firm believers in the faith.
So how can you be a firm believer with out reading the whole scripture?

I know this can be taken as being mean-spirited, but there is a larger issue here and I hope you're getting it. Can you find it within yourselves to answer in a loving way?
