I am sure you will most likely lable me as anti-semetic. Is that just a Christian term or do athiest lable those that are indifferent to the Jews as such? What exacly constitutes being anti-semetic? I am a Christian but I am of the small percentage that doesn't believe the Jews are special. I don't believe in God's eyes the Jews are any different than all the other nationalities of the world. I think it is foolish for Christians to continually give money for these "Bring the Jews back home" crusades. I do, however, support the ministry to preach Jesus Christ to the Jews (this is Biblical). People actually give hundreds of dollars a month to sponser Jews to return back to Israel. I would much rather give my money to a more worthy cause. Bottom line...I feel the Jews need Jesus Christ to be saved just like all the rest of the world...Am I anit-semitic?

why does he reveal himself to some people? faith is based on believing in the absence of evidence. so, if one were to witness god, that would defeat the purpose of that person having faith in god. wouldn't it? if you already know something exists, then you don't necessarily have faith in it anymore.

"If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer."" -Matthew 21:22

That single verse suggests that, no matter what is asked for, it will be received if you believe. So, why not ask for world peace or an end to disease and pray for something useful?According to this verse, it will be received and so I expect to see an end to war and disease.Ok?

doesn't the bible say in Matthew 7:21:

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Just a thought for Christians; if you don't believe in God or anything like it then I guess it doesn't matter what I just said...

but either way

I hope everyone is having a good day =)

There are many who believe, and will state, that our Mind(s) -- our Consciousness -- IS God. Thus I pose the question::

If our Mind IS God; Who Thinks First?

It seems to me to believe in no higher power is a bit arrogant considering no one has a viable explanation for the orginis of the universe. Even an agnostic understands they can neither prove or disprove God, therefore they acknowledge the possibility while being open to other possibilities. So, wouldn't this make an atheist as close minded as they claim Christians are?
