For the people who are vehemently denying that there are no contradictions in the schmible go to this website if you guys dare: http://www.skepticsannotatedbible.com/
Ugh this is sick. People are saying there are no contradictions and saying that we have mis-read the bible. We haven't mis-read it, we aren't picking and choosing what we want to read. When you just read the bible straight up without any biases(I'm agnostic btw) you'll see how flawed it really is.

The bible is like an orchard. People go to it and pick what they like. If you asked people to explain the bible in terms of what they had chosen, you would get many different answers. Some like the banana, and some like the grape. However, when you ask them to please explain the difference between apples and oranges, their response will be that it is all fruit, and therefore, there is no contradiction.
If you go further, and point out that the bible specifically includes peas and carrots, then they will respond that it is all food, so there is still no contradiction. Well, what about the trees and flowers? All plants. No contradiction.
Ignoring specifics and reducing them to a general category allows people to convince themselves that whatever you pick from the orchard, it is all the same substance.

There are no contradictions and false prophecies in the bible. You are repeating the lie that the serpent told Eve in the garden. The world was given over to its own devices and Jesus was lifted up from the earth so that all men would be drawn unto him. The same spirit that lied to Eve would have the bible completely obliterated so that it would no longer stand in his way, but the closer he gets to seeing the completion of his plan the closer the day of the return of the King and the end of time comes.

For every atheist who claims to have found a "contradiction", there is someone who has a logical rebuttal.
Obviously the atheists are not really listening to the rebuttals, because I rarely see a meaningful dialog (Such as, if you didn't like the explanation or the rebuttal, then explain what was wrong with it?).
All atheists do is parrot the same tired old arguments that were probably rebutted hundreds of years ago, without explaining what was wrong with the logical Christian response posted as a rebuttal.
How can we then take you seriously when you say that you find a contradiction or a false prophecy? You are obviously not thinking all that hard about any of this.

Very good question. I don't think the majority realize just how full of contradictions the bible is. Both old and new. Its that blind faith thing I guess. Also, if one of the hundreds of contradictions is mentioned, the standard response usually starts with 'but, consider this' or 'try looking at it this way if you want a better understanding'. That book (both)is nothing but copy of old myths. Thus, the reason for being so screwed up.

There are no false prophesies or contradictions in the Bible. Just the weak minded who fail to understand.

There are no contradictions and false prophecies in the bible =), if God, the bible, or religion could be disproved do you think that religion would still be around with millions (and billions) of followers. I think not...
but im guessing your the type who disbelieves in the bible, but believes in evolution and the fact that non-living matter turned into a living cell, right?

Okay, so what are you going to do about it? Will you just be satisfied by the answers that are both on the right and left of some center point. Why don't you go find out for yourself?
What if I give you a wrong answer? Could you please care to list out the contradictions?

Like what? Oh you mean the alleged contradictions made by those who misread the Bible! Alot of times the alleged stupidity of the writers turns out to be the stupidity of the readers.

Sorry, IF you were able to provide examples, maybe we could answer the question. Since the Bible does not contain contradictions or false prophecies, though, it makes the question moot.
