I am sure you will most likely lable me as anti-semetic. Is that just a Christian term or do athiest lable those that are indifferent to the Jews as such? What exacly constitutes being anti-semetic? I am a Christian but I am of the small percentage that doesn't believe the Jews are special. I don't believe in God's eyes the Jews are any different than all the other nationalities of the world. I think it is foolish for Christians to continually give money for these "Bring the Jews back home" crusades. I do, however, support the ministry to preach Jesus Christ to the Jews (this is Biblical). People actually give hundreds of dollars a month to sponser Jews to return back to Israel. I would much rather give my money to a more worthy cause. Bottom line...I feel the Jews need Jesus Christ to be saved just like all the rest of the world...Am I anit-semitic?

I am very Anti Israel, I support the opposition to any Israeli occupation of stolen land, but the Palestinians are beginning to piss me off.

Jews in the US and other western countries have far too much influence on foreign policy, but Christians have too much influence on everything else.

The can of worms you are opening up is the one about Jews needing Jesus. Most Jews identify themselves as non believers in Jesus. ( Although there is a messianic Jewish woman in my town that other Jews won't say that two because of the tatoos on her arm.) Anti semitic tends to mean anti Jewish. Many Jews don't trust Christians who are in a rush to get them to Israel and want to help Israel because many of these Christians are only doing it to hurry their view of Armegedon. You might find some Jews that are relieved with your perspective on the situation( except for the Jesus part.

The word "anti-Semitism" is a misnomer in and of itself. Why? Because the Semitic race includes Arabs and other peoples from the fertile crescent, gulf area, etc. Therefore, to say one is an anti-Semite is to actually say that one hates the race of Semitic peoples.

Regardless, no, the way the term is used is not only amongst Christians. It is used internationally to describe hatred against the Jewish people.

Honestly though, despite the fact that I don't agree with you one bit, I don't think you're an "anti-Semite." Just because you don't think the Jews are special, or you don't want to donate money to them, doesn't mean that you hate the Jewish people! "Anti-semitism" as it is used today, means a HATRED for Jews, not a disagreement with Jews.

It makes me laugh still as I remember my landlady continually blaming the Jews for much of the bad things and she swore she was a Christian. The funniest thing was Christ lived all his human life as a Jew.

The Jews are no different from anyone anymore since Jesus ended the old covenant and began a new one near his death. Soon afterward, it was open for all nations and people to be included in that new covennat.

You lost me when you said you support the ministry to preach Jesus Christ to the Jews. I have had, in my 60 years of life, probably 100 Christians who have tried earnestly to preach Jesus Christ to me and it was never convincing and it never made sense to me. Isn't it obvious that the Jews already know about Jesus Christ and reject him as Messiah? What do you think you could say that would change that? I'd really like to hear it. Maybe you have something new....

You are certainly coming close to anti-semitic rhetoric.

No one of The True Christian Faith would make the statement you have made... your words prove you have not received proper Christian instruction. The Lord and Master of the Christian is The King of the Jews. Jesus, The Christ, was born a Jew. The Nation of Israel(the Jews) are God's chosen people... That is Biblical... as well as God's Word and Will...
You are correct however, in your statement that the Jews, and you, need Jesus... There is only One Way to God

I wouldn't say that you're anti-semitic. Judgemental, yes, but no anti-semitic.

You have to understand that Jesus is not their prophet and he will never be. It isn't your place to "save" someone because you think they need Jesus Christ. The Jews have been on this earth a hell of a long time without him, I think they're just fine.

An Anti Semite is someone who abuses, hates, persecutes, says offensive things against people who are Semitic. That includes Jews, Arabs, Palestinians, Turks, Persians and a few others.

You are antisemitic if you think that Jews need to be saved. They don't think so and it is insulting to a Jew for you to suggest such a thing. Keep your religion to yourself.

No not anit-semitic. You're just in doubt about the validity of your own beliefs. Otherwise why would you feel compelled to make everyone else believe the same as you? Embrace diversity, it's what makes life interesting.
