This is a common approach by fundamentalists based on the flawed notion that goodness is like virginity- one act to the contrary and you have lost it entirely.
But people aren't either all good or all bad. Even the worst people had some redeeming qualities and performed some good acts. Even the best people have some bad characteristics and do and think some wrong things. Whether you are good or bad on the whole is a matter of weighing your personality and values and behavior. And on the balance I'm very mixed. There's plenty I could do better, there's a lot of attitudes I should change. On the other hand, i try to help folks. So I'm good, I'm bad, I'm neutral. In a word, I'm human.

Yes, I am a good person.
Have I told a lie? Yes, sometimes it is necessary to spare the feelings of others.
Have I ever stolen anything? In the past yes, but
not in many years now.
Have I ever looked upon another with lust? Perhaps, but I don't think the emotion was a strong a lust, more like a school girl crush.
Have I ever hated anyone? Yes, because of what was done to me, but I have since forgiven them. I don't hate anyone now.
So do I think I am a good person, most definitely.
I am now honest, helpful, a loyal friend, a friend to animals in need, and I try to bring joy with me where ever I go, even if I am in physical or emotional pain, which is often the case.
I don't take out my frustrations on others no matter what the situation.

I'm a very good person. I would never hurt another person, violence is not in my nature. I care for my friends and family and generally think this world needs to stop fighting all the time.
However, seeing as you're blatantly expecting people to say yes they're good and answer yes to the following questions so you can shoot them down, I'm not answering the next four.
All that should be said is that whether somebody has told a lie or not is irrelevant. Especially if somebody has looked upon another with lust, who cares!? It's human nature.
Things aren't just black and white. I can be a good person, who occasionally hates somebody, it's not like I'm stricken from the good people books instantly. Everybody has a bad side, but NOBODY is fit to judge my actions. It's this "good" and "bad" thing that divides people in the first place.

Have you ever told a lie?
Sure - there was the time when my friend was raped, and the government was coming to kill her because she was a disgrace to her family. They asked if I knew where she was, and though she was hiding in my closet, I lied and said "no".
Man, I suck.
Have you ever stolen any thing?
Yes. I remember a time when my family was starving, and I was a slave. I had to steal some of my master's bread in order to save one of my dying children.
Again, Father save me.
Have you ever looked upon another with lust?
Certainly. Unfortunately, I am an animal. More specifically, I am a member of the genus Homo and the species sapien. I am biologically predisposed to harbor lust. It happens to be the reason I'm alive in the first place.
Sorry, sorry.
Have you ever hated anyone?
Certainly not. When I watched my neighbor beat his son because he felt like it, I didn't harbor hatred.
When I had to answer a series of questions from a pathetically black-and-white thinker, I again was free from hatred. It's difficult to hate an ignorant person. That is, unless you're God, in which case... feel free to flood the earth as a result of your poor anger management skills.

I consider myself to be a good person.
Yes, I'm sure I've told several lies , meaning to or not.
No , I don't steal, the guilt would kill me.
Yes, I've looked at a few with lust ( blushing )
No, Hate is a strong word. I dislike things some people do or say. Or their attitude, But I just try to avoid them.
I'm an honest, reliable caring person so I guess that makes me a good one.

Yes I consider myself to be a good person.
Yes, yes, yes, and no (I may have an intense dislike, but I think hate would be too strong of a word.)
Why do I think I'm a good person. I've grown and understand more.
Now, I don't lie. I don't steal (just to clarify my stealing consisted of succumbing to peer pressure at age ten and copying music; I no longer copy music and abhor pirating). Lust, still do that, but what's wrong with it? I wouldn't cheat on my wife and come on, how am I supposed to deny that a scantily clad Jessica Alba doesn't inspire lust. Still don't hate anyone.
How many people do you think qualify as good by your standard?

I've done all of that but when push comes to shove I generally avoid doing anything that is harmful to others. I'm not a good person but I know the difference between right and wrong.

Have you ever made somebody smile?
Have you ever loved somebody?
Did you ever help a stranger?
Have you ever consoled somebody unhappy?
The good things we do are much more important than the bad things we don't do.
to your question: yes to all. And yes, I still don't think I am a bad person. Most people actually like me...

I've lied, stolen, lusted, and hated.
And I'm still a good person. Not perfect - but still good.
I don't need to be 'saved' or 'forgiven' either. I take full responsibility for everything I've ever done or said.

Everyone has done what you have listed, perfection will never be found in anyone.
All one can do is try to be the best person they can with the human flaws that we all possess.
I consider myself to be a good person.
