Quality of life cannot be so broadly defined for everyone on earth. Quality implies that these are things that you value. If you value sleeping with pretty girls, eating delicious food, and visiting tropical places then yes, it can be estimated that way. However, if you don't value these things (as I don't) you can't measure your life by them. For someone like me, the quality of my life is defined in my children's eyes, my husband's smile, the laughter of good friends. But it's different for everyone.

sure, memories can make you happy from time to time, but i believe all of these things you have listed are temporary. the taste of the food won't last, neither will the erotica felt when with the woman, nor the enjoyment of being in tropical paradise. i believe the quality of your life is only affected permanently when you serve others and truly change the world with your generosity, kind heart, and true self. whether it is preserving the environment, giving spare change to a homeless person, i believe only these acts can really enhance your quality of life and personal satisfaction with yourself... i know it's a long answer, but in short, the quality of life can only be estimated by WHO AND WHAT you AFFECTED when on this earth.

To me Quality of life, is how you feel about your life at any point in time, when you stop and reflect.

When you're on your deathbed and thinking back, are you happy with the way things turned out, did you spend enough time with people, and doing things that are important to you?

If you answer, Yes. Then I would say you are leading a quality life.

Perception. Some people are perfectly content to only have a robe, a begging bowl and a few threads to mend their robes by and they consider it a good quality of life.

If thats what you think makes your life happy and good, then sure. To me, its more of spending time with my family, knowing that i've tried to do something, and that i've made a difference, even if its only in the lives of my friends and family.

None of those, they have nothing to do with the quality of life, and I don't feel like explaining simple answers anymore today.

It can in your world. In mine.......

It is living life to its fullest, enjoying the things that I have always wanted to do. Everything I have and do is from God, not from me, He has blessed me immensly. My life is based on my contenment in Him.
