doesn't the bible say in Matthew 7:21:

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Just a thought for Christians; if you don't believe in God or anything like it then I guess it doesn't matter what I just said...

but either way

I hope everyone is having a good day =)

There are a lot who "think" they are Christian who are not... those will be in for a suprise when they don't get in.

Only those who come to God in The Way He prescribes will receive His free gift of Salvation. Those become part of The Body of The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head. Those are the ones of The True Christian Faith. Only Those of The Church will enter Heaven.

You will not get to Heaven just by saying you are a good Christian. The second part of that verse spells it out.

"but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."

Many religions teach that all you have to do is believe and accept Jesus into your heart, but as you can see from that verse and many others, you have things to "do" as well. The devils believe and tremble. If all you have to do is believe, then the devils will be in Heaven too.

" But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?" James 2:20

Faith only does NOT save.

I'm sure you know John 3:16. I think the scripture you posted is saying that just because you acknowledge Jesus doesnt mean you are saved. You have to confess your sins and turn away from them. You also have to believe in your heart that Jesus died and arose on the 3rd day, so that our sins could be forgiven. Anyone, a drunkerd, an atiest, or a child could call upon the Lord and not mean anything by it. That doesnt give them eternial life.

We know were not, not unless we live the life and abide by the rules and commands God has given us. It is not that you live this life do what you want and go to Heaven no it is not that easy. You have to be saved, live for God, be in fellowship, be free from cursing, not conform, yea were still going to sin. But the question is can a man live a life free of sins and the answer is yes you certainly can. Not meaning that you will not sin still cause you will. But the big sins you can live free from, you can get them out of your life. Just trusting that God is here and that He did die for your sins, and knowing when your saved that Eternal life is your's, God Bless Brother and take care of yourself.

That is what they've been told all their lives. It is not in the Bible for everyone going. What about the earth?

Most people just "go along to get along". The less thought the better. That is one reason dictators happen so often.

DOING the will of my Father is also something they overlook as they want to just take it without even raising up a "thank you".

With a Christian as long as there is life there is hope!

There are persons out there working hard to get the world to believe there is a God. So much so they have forgotten the principles. a relationship with the one that made them and the one that saved them. Oh,yes people do believe in God and love him. But there are wolves in sheep clothing.

Unfortunately, many Christians do not study the Bible or good at sound reason'n. For example, how many Christians do U k'now (not no) all the names of the 12 disciples of Immanuel or the names of the 12 tribes of Israel? Most Christians are like goats (no wonder they call their Children Kids) they love to stray from Bible Studies and exemplifying Immanuel the Messiah.

Your question involves the concept of "once saved, always saved," which many Christians believe in but Catholic Christians do not.

"Once saved, always saved" is non-Biblical. There are verses which seem to suggest that it's true, but all these verses really mean is that we will be saved if we accept Christ AND continue in His grace till death.

Romans 11:22 is clear on this: "See, then, the kindness and severity of God: severity toward those who fell, but God's kindness to you, provided you remain in his kindness; otherwise you too will be cut off."

St. Paul wrote these words to Christians who were already "saved" -- and here, he is clearly warning them that becoming "unsaved" is a real possibility.

But then again all true believers do the will of God. The thus Jesus said, "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life." John 5:24

I think it would be useless to profess anything and not believe it. That verse describes the difference between those who are just saying they are living a christian life and those who are actually living a christian life to the fullest of their ability.
