I will put two hands up for that one. Death is better than to live in this world. This world has NOTHING to offer that is good. Who wants to be absent from the body and present with the Lord? I do, and sooner the better. I did not take my medication this morning as I got up too late. But I look forward to the day where I do not have to take medication anymore. Bring on death. I will not comitt suicide as it will land me in hell, although I have though about it many times. And yes I still get tempted. How many other christians on here wants to leave this earth too? For me sooner the better, I have nothing here, excpet Jesus and the Father with me, but being with the Lord is much better than staying here. It would be good if the adverage life span was 40, then I would probablly be home already as I am 38 and sick and tired of this crappy life. I find when ever I forget to take my medication I feel like crap, and want to die. So I look forward to the day I will not have to take

Don't you think there's something wrong with a belief that makes you think that life is nothing? Don't you know that heaven is an empty promise? This is the only chance you get. Get what you can out of it, even if it's only small things. Enjoy something.
You sound like you're in so much pain. I'm so sorry.

I'm 38 and I'm ready for the Lord to come any day as I know my family and I will be going with Him. However, I don't believe He wants us to be unhappy here on earth. I'm very sorry that you are so terribly unhappy. It seems from what you say that you may be suffering from depression. Have you seen your doctor lately? What kind of medication are you taking? Some meds make you feel depressed....pain meds, anxiety meds, sleep meds, etc. If you aren't taking anti-depressants, you may need to be evaluated for those. If you are, you shouldn't feel so desperate when you only miss one day.
With that said, yes, I do look forward to the day He comes but I believe that there are still people out there who need to be saved before He returns. I know that it will all be in His timing. This world has a whole lot of bad, but there is a lot of good here, too. You just have to be able to find it. Please don't do anything to yourself. It is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. You don't want your family to suffer like that, do you? I will pray for you.

I'm way too busy enjoying the beautiful world that God gave us and encouraging others to learn about the Lord to consider wanting to die. I know that I'll die eventually but I want to do as much as possible to make the world a better place before I go. I think that you need to have a talk with your physician about your medications and try doing some more volunteer work in your community. Helping others is a great way to forget about your own problems and it feels so good to know that you've made a difference.

I believe that you are greatly unlearned in the Word of God. We ALL have WORK to do while we are in this flesh life. leaving it early would be like quiting your job and walking out W/O Notice. Medications are NOT an Excuse. I have and still am treated for Manic Depression, Anxiety, and Nerves for years, and I do not feel that way. What you need to do is GROW UP and take some responsibility for your self and stop whining. I am not being rude or condescending, BUT only trying to open your eyes and give you some mature advise from someone who has had these problems them self probably longer than you have been alive.

Going Home,
I am also ill and have rough days. My wife does not understand how rough it is at times. I love our children and our grandson they are very important to us. My beautiful wife of 32 years is GOD's Gift to me. I believe that as long as we are Christians on Earth it is our JOB to go out and Teach the Message of Christ to others. Read and study Matthew 28:18-21. This was probably Christ's Last Words to the disciples and we are HIS Disciples who are left to carry out the Great Commission here. I intend to do what I can to spread HIS Message across this great land. Have a wonderful day!
Thank you,
Eds

Well it is something to look forward to, yes
BUT- what you do with the time you have here is extremely important. Everyday choosing Christ and every problem choosing Christ, spreading the gospel when you can and helping others... tapping into your spiritual gift and or praying for it to be revealed. There is much growth to be had on all our parts and so long as we are here we must strive to continue to grow in grace and knowledge of Gods word.
Your life here has purpose. Suffering is to be had by all but suffering for the Lord is rewarded! Remember that!
God Bless and I'm praying for you, we all have days we wish he'd just call us up!

Although physical suicide is wrong and could land you in hell, your discuss about wanting to end your life is just as spiritually unhealthy. You speak as though you feel God has abandon us; like you know what is best for self and this world. Please, in your depression about the godlessness of this world, remember that God has a plan for you and wants you to stand tall against the devil and spreach word. Therefore, instead of letting the evilness of dispear enter your heart, live in God's word "Go and make disciples of all nations" and "I will be with you even to the very end of the age".
God bless you brother. When it is God choosing we will meet in Heaven.

There are no counsels from any Messengers of God that man must abandon this world because it is deteriorating physically and spiritually. But, we must repent and build it anew. That is why no true believers decide to desert this planet, but all are making greater efforts to establish the Kingdom of God right here and now.

I am a Mother of a young son and recently found out I am pregnant. I want to stay with my Children. I will get there when I get there and I want to enjoy the Gift of life that God has given me. I except Jesus and I want to go to heaven.
However, You cannot doubt God's timing for you. If he wants you here right now, There is a reason. Don't doubt God.
Also, I suggest Going to a doctor. God has blessed so many people with the knowledge to help you enjoy your life.

I'm ready for death whenever it comes, but I would prefer for God to wait until I'm older (like maybe seventy-five. Yeah, that would be a good age.), have had the chance to have children (and watch them grow up), and after my mom has gone, too. It would be HORRIBLE for her if she outlived any of her kids!
Besides, the Earth is beautiful, even if mankind sometimes isn't.
