Why am I insulted for my beliefs? i don’t "preach" or stand on my soap box. I just say what I think about God and I seem to get insulted for not having the same beliefs as that other person. Is it an issue that person is fighting with within themselves or are they just being old fashioned bullies? People say that I’m wasting my time looking for something that doesn’t even exists…..well I happen to think that your wasting your time trying to convince me that something doesn’t exists when in fact I know there is a God. You believe in what you choose to believe in and I will do the same and leave it at that. don’t insult my intelligence just because you don’t believe. You always say that Christian’s pressure our “religion” on you when it seems it’s the other way around. We cant even pray in public because it offends other people. We’ve taken prayer out of schools but allow homosexual clubs to be set up. I think that your beliefs are forced on us. Why? Because you kick us out of everything because to you it does not exists and yet you insult Christians. I just think that there needs to be respect both ways. Yes, Christians shouldn’t use the scare tactic to lead people to Christ and I don’t think that people who don’t believe in my God should insult Christians.

My mom always told me about "untimely deaths". She says when somebody is murdered or life is taken from the hands of another human and that person has not been found or the killing was unsolved the persons soul still wonders the earth until their death has been revealed. What does happen to the souls that have not fully lived. And is there really a "time" for someone to die. I always hear "it wasnt their time" well if it wasnt their time they would still be alive ..right?

And also, why wont the atheists just answer a question? If I ever ask a serious question they will just tell me how stupid I am for my beleifs.

Is it possible that during the big bang, or some other universal collision, that all our mythical creatures were on a piece of rock that was blown away into the cosmos, and they still live on a planet far, far away!???

Or, that they were the unfortunate ones that lived on the bits of earth that were flooded or opened into large crevasses'. If they dug up the grand canyon would they find unicorn bones????
(I am not suggesting that they should, by the way!)

I've heard people say that they believe a loved one (spouse, brother, friend) who has passed away can look down from heaven and see us (or, usually more particularly: look down to see the person with this belief).

Is there any biblical scripture that supports this? Not Isaiah 65:17, perhaps 2 Corinthians 5:1?, Psalm 85:11? Psalm 23?. There are many accounts of the Lord looking down from heaven and of angels delivering messages from heaven, but mankind is neither God nor angel.

May God bless you in the love of Christ!

My friend prayed for a helpmate and then she met the love of her life. The problem is the love of her life is a woman. We asked the Pastor and he said that the devil can also answer prayers. My question is:
If the devil can answer prayers how do I know who is answering my prayers.

I 've always liked orlando jones (evolution, drumline, osmosis jones) until i rented primeval where he said "slavery was a good thing anything to get out of africa" . this is exactly the new spin racism that should be avoided. there is no psychic refuge for the atrocities of slavery but sure enough they try to convince you their forefathers did you a favor .while also erasing all historic guilt for themselves. I would quit before ever saying those assinine words. any thoughts

Quran was sent to mankind, as mentioned in 18:4-5 it was sent to warn the Christians of a terrible punishment from God if they cease not in saying: "Allah has begotten a son."
Muslims sincerely believe that everything Jesus (May the peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) preached was from God; the Gospel (Injeel): The "good news" and the guidance of God for the Children of Israel. There is no place mentioned in the present four Gospels that Jesus wrote a single word of his Gospel, nor is it mentioned that Jesus instructed anyone to do so. What passes off, as the "Gospels" today are the works of third party human hands. The Quran 2:79 says:
"And woe to those who write the book with their own hands and they say: "This is from Allah (God)." To traffic with it for a miserable price! So woe to them for what their hands do write, and woe to them for what they earn thereby!"

You are not far from the Kingdom of God.

Do you: believe if you perform good works you are rewarded threefold? Accept suffering for a spiritual purpose? Believe there are spiritual powers greater than you? Find rest or peace in the spirit world? Seek knowlege of yourself, others and the world through the spirit world? Believe you can influence the spiritual and corporal world? Believe that with only a very small faith you can influence healing, the weather, and faith of others?

Christ wants us to believe these things too. I tell you, you will do even more as a Christian. A scribe once said that loving God and one's neighbor are the greatest commandments. Jesus told the scribe, "You are not far from the Kingdom of God." Mk12:18-34

After all of the leaps of faith you have made (most of what you believe in is "loving you neighbor") what leap of faith is left for you?

Believe in and love the one I AM with all your might. C'mon leap!

Yours more than you know, Grace

I was in church last night and my pastor was preaching on "PRAYER", he was telling us how people pray and pray and pray, and ask and ask and ask, God for everything! But what about the things he's already given us????? I mean.......come on! We pray....." Lord please give me those shoes I saw yesterday Lord...... they would fit perfectly and look so nice." But what about the shoes you have???????? at least they keep your feet covered! This isn't about shoes.......it's about really thanking God for eveything! It says in I Corinthians 15:57 " But Thanks be untoGod,which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." It also says in Ephesians 5:20," Giving Thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."

KJV.
here is one of my favorite verses.
Luke11:10, " For everyone that asketh receiveth;and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Who woulda honestly thought that maybe there's actually religion outside of the US?Although i can only really speak for Canada, but i just think it's unfair that alot of the judgments from Atheists on here come from the Christians there.

Christians are in no way causing problems for our society, government or anything to say the least... if anything they're making our economy better. In fact our catholic schools have the highest grade point averages with the lowest percent of drop outs... and we are required to take 4 years of science so we do know our facts concerning evolution especially.

I'm just sayin it's surprising to hear that the States has all these issues but why can't most of you accept the fact that not ALL Christians EVERYWHERE are like that?
