Unfortunately it cannot be proven, because whether or not you use the Bible it still boils down to faith. Faith is either something you have or don't have. It can be found or lost many times throughout your life, often depending on circumstances in your life. Most people, usually middle aged or older like myself, eventually find a faith that lasts, or decides there is no God at all. I wish you luck with trying to solve your struggle. My only advice would be to try and learn from events in your life.

The question as to whether or not Jesus will come needs to be looked at against the backdrrop of a drama (play) where all the actors have specific roles to play. When an act is done with the producer takes the actor off stage and gives him/her a new role to play ( a new costume et al) and the play goes on.like in a football match when a player is off the field it doesn't mean the game is over and he doesnt go home until the final whistle.
So simple put nobody has gone back home because nobody knows the way back home but more importantly the world's drama is still ongoing so how can one say he/she is going back home?
Again, this physical body is meant for this physical world and that when the souls the body (dead) the soul takes another body (m/f), name, religion, profession, family et al.
Human beings came on this earth from the soul world in the form of light or stars and took the gross physical body in the womb of the mother and so nobody goes up there in the physical body so the claim that Jesus went to heaven is false because he couldn't have gone there with the gross physical body. Besides, it is not time to go back home - the play is still on. More importantly, besides God nobody knows the way back home.
The question is: Will Jesus ever come? Simply put since Jesus is still with us in another body and hasn't gone anywhere from where does he come?
William Shakespeare tells us in his pastoral comedy 'As you like it', Act 2, Scene 2, that "all the world's a stage, all the men and women merely players. They have their exits and their entrances and one man in his time plays many parts."
This means that like the snake that sheds its skin and goes on with its life the same with the human being. We are souls and not merely bodies of fresh and blood. As souls we do not die ( the soul goes marching on ) it is the body that rots but the souls another body be it female or male, religion, name, profession et al depending on the new role the Director/Producer (God ) deems fit and plays another role given him/her.

Actually there is some strong proof outside the Bible that Jesus is returning. A number of believers in Jesus (that I've talked to) from a number of different Christian backgrounds and sometime nonChristian ones-- have had dreams and visions in which Jesus says he is returning shortly.

I don't really know what you have against the Bible - that you can't use that for proof as well...

The way my life has changed since I began my relationship with Jesus is proof to me that he will do what he said he would do. So many people get hung up on religion. It's about a relationship. He can and will change your life. This is a very tangible thing that I literally can see, feel, and believe. He is more than ready to relate to you as well.

The Bible says and I quote :

The Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout and the voice of the archangel and the dead in Christ shall rise first then we who are alive shall be caught up to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
I Thessalonians 4:15-18

Nobody can do that. It's true simply because Jesus says it will happen and Jesus cannot lie. It's a trust issue, but whereas I wouldn't trust some of my friends to do what they say they will based on past experiences of being let down, I have never been let down by Jesus so I can reasonably assume he is trustworthy in this too.

Yes. There are 2 ways in which this can happen. One is coming back in the spirit. Countless people have seen Jesus in this fashion. St Frances, Sain Theresa Neuman are a few names. This is not a question of whether we believe it or not, for them it was real. They li.ved their life piosly and accordingly. Even in modern times, many people have had encounters of Jesus in this way.
The question which you refer to is will he come back in the flesh? The answer is yes. If the miracles described by Jesus are to be believed and the miracles by many saints after him are to be believed, then coming back is perhaps one of the easiest thing for him. However, God has chosen to follow certain injunctions. It would not proper for him to force us to believe in him by displaying his miracles. He wants us to love him freely and willingly. So his miracles often come in subtle ways and later on as our love increases, the miracles become more overt. However, individuals who reach that high level are exceedingly rare.

Yes, and I am the one person on Earth who has PROOF of it! The Catholic Church hates me, as do most other religious and world leaders. It was the weirdest thing too. I was walking in a park one day and there it was, a big old book that said, "Here is proof that Jeses will return to Earth!" Wicked Cool!!!!!

Yes.... No...The Bible would not "prove it" to you anyway... I can tell you that I know with absolute certainty that God The Creator is real... I know with certainty the source of my Faith... But I can prove nothing of it to you... no one of The True Christian Faith can "prove" their Faith to you...

But if you have a question concerning The True Christian Faith you may email me... one honest question will receive one honest answer to the best of my ability.... but the proof you seek can only come from God.

Jesus is a historical figure. Historians have no doubt that he existed. He was executed for crimes against the State. No, he will not ever come again. We all get one shot at life, when it's gone, we make room for those to follow, just like Jesus did.
