Absolutely! I am so glad to see that someone on here actually has some common sense and understands that insulting others only makes yourself look bad, not the other person/religion.

Nope it doesn't. I try not to insult. I just do not have belief. Of course anything I say about what I believe is taken as an insult. It seems some Christians can say how atheist are deluded, going to hell or something like that, but if an atheist says how the bible is not true, it's an insult. Anything said against Christianity is an insult. while anything said against atheism is " we care for you and we're trying to save your soul".

i do no longer try this. In genuine existence and on Y!A, i think the individuals i'm around the two come from some branch of Christianity or are atheist/agnostic. In different words, i'm no longer of those ideals. i think of what you're speaking approximately happens while all and sundry is constrained of their international view. You pronounced "directly assume," so on your question if i'm assuming something directly, that would recommend it rather is have been given no longer something to do with questioning. basically a organic, computerized reaction. If all you spot are Christians, then it rather is basically organic so which you will anticipate the individuals you confer with be Christian. it rather is style of like how stereotypes artwork. you have already have been given a geared up up opinion of somebody, so once you spot them you do no longer provide them various a raffle to alter that opinion. Eh. To me, it rather is not proper in spite of in the event that they do provide me an analogous reaction. i'm going to the two forget approximately them and walk away, clarify to them why their view ought to offend somebody, or say something snarky if i'm rather indignant. **I only needed to make sparkling that i think of multiple the individuals I come for the time of are the two Christian or atheist/agnostic through fact those are the ideals of lots of the individuals i'm surrounded with the aid of. i did no longer understand how weird and wonderful it sounded earlier earlier.

I think you are right.

But, mocking another's religion is a way to make the mocker feel superior to the person they insult.

Of course, lets make sure we understand the difference between mocking/insulting and asking honest questions regarding contradictions, nonsensical passages and other legitimate questions. And, disagreement is not the same as insults.

I think insulting someone's religion is a fine way to make one's own religion look good.

i will answer you truly......... when someone insults me whatever his religion is.... i Never say he is behaving like this because of the teachings of his religion, NEVER......
I always believe that a true religion will never teach its followers to be insolent and rude...... otherwise it won't be a religion......
but when come to the person that insults, it's he himself that is evil, stupid and bad..... not his religion.

May Allah show us the true path... Ameen.

insulting anyone's personal beliefs, whether religious or not, is always wrong - people do that out of fear & insecurity about themselves - peace be unto you

Yes, we shouldn't insult people's religion, no matter what our view are. It is hypocrisy to do so.
