This is the theme of the Jehovah's witnesses' district conventions this year. They are distributing invitations in local neighborhoods with pictures of Jesus. If you go to their convention, will they tell you clearly to follow Jesus Christ?

Watchtower, 5/1/1959 p. 269 pars. 6-7 Attain Completeness in the New World Society:
The whole body under the direction of the head moves and acts as a beautifully co-ordinated unit, perfectly organized. In the same way Christ, the Head, employs the organization that is his body to carry out his assigned work. His orders reach the whole of the organization on earth through the governing body, and on down through the Branches to the congregations.—1 Cor. 12:12-18; Matt. 24:45-47. To hold to the headship of Christ, it is therefore necessary to obey the organization that he is personally directing. Doing what the organization says is to do what he says. Resisting the organization is to resist him.

April 1st 2007 Watchtower 4/1/2007,
page 24 paragraph 13:
"It is to this holy temple class that Jesus has entrusted his earthly belongings, which means that certain rights and responsibilities within the Christian congregation belong exclusively to this collective slave. For this reason, all in the congregation view it as their sacred duty to follow and uphold the direction coming from the faithful slave and its Governing Body."

Is This “Following the Christ”?
Watchtower Urged To Change Policy on Sex Abuse Cases
Victims’ Group Releases Settlements With 16 Who Claimed Abuse by Elders
By Rose French-Associated Press
BROOKLYN HEIGHTS — “A victims’ rights group has released documents showing that the Jehovah’s Witnesses, also known as the Watchtower Society, recently settled civil suits with 16 people who claimed they were sexually abused by church elders or that church officials failed to act on abuse allegations.”

Would Christ Send a Child Molester House to House?
Watchtower 1997 1/1 p. 29 Let Us Abhor What Is Wicked ***
“Depending on the law of the land where he lives, the molester may well have to serve a prison term or face other sanctions from the State…. If he seems to be repentant, he will be encouraged to make spiritual progress, share in the field service…,”
What are the dangers of not following Christ example?
(Luke 17:2) 2 It would be of more advantage to him if a millstone were suspended from his neck and he were thrown into the sea than for him to stumble one of these little ones.. . .
What Would Christ DO?
Report child molestation to Police for prosecution.
Seek legal assistance if you have been abused.
Do not allow molesters to use religion to have access to children.

Maybe in utilitarian versions of classical architecture, but art has no such obligation or restriction. Indeed "form may create function" in both art and some artistic architectural philosophies. It's a beginning to start there with that idea. But architecture supported by advances in understanding, building techniques and building materials has opened the the door to more imaginative and creative visions. I see lots of good A's to your Q. I think there is such a thing as transcendental architecture as there is transcendental art and transcendental thought. I would think of "form follows function" as a thumb rule in mechanical and civil engineering design specifically and all engineering in general. It also reminds me of Leonardo Davinci's studies of forms (eg human body, horses in motion & birds in flight to name a few) and his many engineering designs.

Jehovah's Witnesses have arranged for literally THOUSANDS of conventions worldwide presenting the 2007-2008 theme "Follow the Christ". Hundreds of conventions will be held across the United States:
http://jw-media.org/region/americas/usa/english/releases/events/usa_e070531a.htm
During 2006, more than 2.3 million attended Jehovah's Witness conventions in the United States, meaning that active Jehovah's Witnesses made up less than half of that attendance. The entire 2007 "Follow the Christ" program clearly admonishes its audience to follow Jesus Christ.

Jesus extended the invitation to be his follower, saying: “If anyone wants to come after me, let him disown himself and pick up his torture stake and continually follow me.” (Mt 16:24)
Those who are true Christians have full faith that Jesus Christ is God’s specially Anointed One and only-begotten Son, the Promised Seed who sacrificed his human life as a ransom, was resurrected and exalted to the right hand of Jehovah, and received authority to subdue his enemies and vindicate Jehovah’s name. (Mt 20:28; Lu 24:46; Joh 3:16; Ga 3:16; Php 2:9-11; Heb 10:12, 13)
The main identifying quality by which true Christians are recognized is the outstanding love they have toward one another. “By this,” Jesus said, “all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love among yourselves.”—Joh 13:34, 35; 15:12, 13.
True Christians imitate Jesus’ example as the Great Teacher and Faithful Witness of Jehovah. (Joh 18:37; Re 1:5; 3:14) “Go . . . make disciples of people of all the nations” is their Leader’s command. (Mt 28:19, 20)
In carrying it out, Christians ‘witness publicly and from house to house,’ urging people everywhere to flee out of Babylon the Great and put their hope and confidence in God’s Kingdom. (Ac 5:42; 20:20, 21; Re 18:2-4)

What is your religion? You do not attack the religion that has saved so many lives but you can attack the person who has done you wrong. The organization is not responsible for an individual or member's act of crime or misdemeanor. Just like in any other religious organizations, we too have our share of the "goats". We are not perfect like you, we are but human beings capable of sinning and falling prey to temptations.
We follow Christ by example. We are not slaves of men but rather of God. We believe in Jesus Christ but we pray to God Almighty the Father who is Jehovah in Jesus' name. For Jesus said: "I am the way.....No one comes to the Father but through me..."
I know that you cannot please everybody. Each one of us has his/her own beliefs, his/her own views or opinions and his/her own religion. I am not trying to convert anyone here, I am just expressing my opinion so, no offense meant to all who has answered the above question.

No, they will tell you about a false Jesus. Jesus said that many will come in his name saying that he is the Christ, and deceive many. Jehovah's Witness points to Jesus who died on the cross and then draws people away from him and to the one who they call Jesus.
One of the basic Jehovah's Witness doctrines is that Jesus was a god, not the one true and living God. This doctrine brings the New Age idea that we are all gods into their belief. It's a little leaven that leavens the whole lump, error.

First of all..I am reading the Bible cover to cover for myself....I have studied it all of my life but I want to be able to say that I have personally read all of it.
I went searching for a christian church that held to moral standards plus accurate biblical doctrine..(boy was that hard to find)
I talk about God and my faith every day in my work...I own a salon and it comes up at least once a day where I can offer advice on gods grace......People tell their hairdresser things that they will not tell a therapist.
i pray...I thank God for the rich blessings in my life...I try not to judge others.....and i tell the truth....See I kept the Witness morals...But left the false doctrine for The true truth
