I was in church last night and my pastor was preaching on "PRAYER", he was telling us how people pray and pray and pray, and ask and ask and ask, God for everything! But what about the things he's already given us????? I mean.......come on! We pray....." Lord please give me those shoes I saw yesterday Lord...... they would fit perfectly and look so nice." But what about the shoes you have???????? at least they keep your feet covered! This isn't about shoes.......it's about really thanking God for eveything! It says in I Corinthians 15:57 " But Thanks be untoGod,which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." It also says in Ephesians 5:20," Giving Thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."

KJV.
here is one of my favorite verses.
Luke11:10, " For everyone that asketh receiveth;and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

I don't thank Him enough but I thank Him often. I am so grateful that He would give up His only begotten Son for my sins. Thank you Jesus, I love you. And thank you Courtney b/c you've allowed the Spirit to lead you and in turn look at all who came forth to thank our Father. God bless you, always.

No, I don't and I will be the first to admit it. I don't really think nobody does. You really can't thank Him enough I feel. When I pray I always try to start out exalting the Lord and thanking Him for being my help, strength, comfort, etc. I had heard a preacher preach kind of the same thing your Pastor did and his preaching brought to my mind the same thing, do I ask the Lord for more things or do I offer my praise to him more? It is something to think about. My favorite scripture is 1 Thessalonians 5:18 - In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. KJV - God bless you, my friend in the Lord.

Okay, I really do try to thank God for everthing. Good and Bad. But I am not perfect and I realize when I have strayed away from where I should be in my faith. Like, If I am facing a hard time, it takes me a couple of days to be like, "Oh my gosh, I am really struggling because I have not stopped to speak to my Lord and thank Him for all I have and ask Him for strength and courage". We are all so imperfect and we sometimes need a nudge to be reminded just how sinful we are. By the way, it would be so wrong to pray for material things. I hope everyone realizes that! We are to pray and ask for Gods will to be done.

First of all you praise Jesus Thank Jesus And worship Jesus in any order from your heart The bible says come to my gates with praise and thanksgiving. Then I use to do a whole bunch of old tired out prayers and God said to me Do you like that and I said No ,God said I dont either. That is when after I Came into His presence I became silent and let God tell me what I need to do.Listen Listen Listen.TELL THAT TO YOUR PREACHER>

Every day for every thing. I recognize that although I'm actually doing the work, God gave me the opportunity for my job. Whether people believe it or not, and most choose not to, God owns everything. As a Christian, I work as though I'm working for Him, not the men who own this business. That reflects in a good work ethic.

You can't have more unless you show that you're grateful for what you already have. And the more you give away, the more you get.

God bless you!

One of my favorite things to do is get on the treadmill with my Ipod, and play my praise and worship music. I can rejoice and praise God for an hour while I exercise. It is a beautiful communion with Him and it refreshes and delights my heart. Even doing that most days my answer would be no, I don't think I "could" ever thank Him enough for all He has done.

Yes I thank God all the time even for the bad things cause other things come of it and through it. If every prayer was answered we would sometimes get things we really didn't want. We get what we need and sometimes what we want, but we need to be greatful for what we have. Even if it's next to nothing. It could be worse---think about it.

i always thank god for what he is doing and for what he is going to do. he is the reason why iam here now. it makes no sense for you to think you are doing all the things you do by yourself i mean who do these people think wakes them up in the morning. where is the psychological sense in thinking that you yourself makes a way out of no way. anybody with some sense would know its god i mean who else could it be. when you have your breakfast in the morning leave the HATER AIDE out please then you can focus on god.

We can never thank God enough for there are so many things that we are blessed with that we don't even think about or don't know about (everything happens for a reason). But, we can sure try!
