"Get used to it. All of us atheists on here get questions and answers deleted."

"I got an answer deleted for saying the bible is a lie. I am sure if I said the quran was a lie, it wouldn't have been deleted."

I was brought up in a very strict catholic way, we use to pray everyday in the morning and night, and go to church every sunday, i now no longer go to church and pray everyday like i use to because i work all the time now, so i leave the praying to my mum and the rest of the family, but do you think that this is true??...when you die, and you go to hell you will burn for eternity???

I know i am catholic but i never use to pay attention in church nor at home while we pray.

in the band linkin park, the guitarist brad delson and the drummer rob bourdan practice judaism but the rest of the band has tattoos and rob bourdan and brad delson claim that they don't have tatoos for their own religous reasons for the own jewish faith. but how come the jewish boxer Zab Judah("The jab super") has tatoos on his arms.

i'm a Christian. just trying to see what others think. do you think it'll will be a big pit of fire like the Bible describes it as, or could it be one of the metaphors in the Bible? i've heard a fellow Christian say that you could just be there, without any fire, and be suffering because you'll be without God and the fires are just a way to explain the pain to us humans. this does sound reasonable. what do you think?

My granpa is a widowed 92 year old man who liked to lead a simple lifestyle with his girlfriend of 14 years. His main source of fun used to be puttering around at the local casino spending something like $50 a visit. He doesn't need much is what he says. What would be a good gift idea to give him at his old folks home, outside of clothes and food, which he always has plenty of.

He has no major health problems aside from saying he is gradually getting weaker, a natural thing for a man his age.

thanks

Ok. They come around here 4-5 times a year at my home. I always decline them. He comes up to me telling me "money is the root of all evil." I told him people work very hard for their money. Then he still persists with his preaching sadly, and I tell him to get off my property, because he is shoving religion down my throat.

I am a proud Catholic and never would I shove religion or grace someone's doorstep and try to convert them.

This is a sensative topic (religion) so why in the world would you not expect to see questions and answers parodying your religion? Even if they border on the obscene they're still fun. We could goodie goodie two shoes and post good questions and answers but what fun would that be? I know that most of my questions aren't funny but people like Q,Balaam's Talking Donkey,Gazoo and such are.

The main question is "Why is it that other Atheists get so mad at other atheists that just want to have fun?"

Fellow bartenders, I know this has happened to you. You make a drink. You know you made it right. You might have even employed the use of a jigger instead of freepouring. The guest complains that the drink isn't strong enough or a server comes back and tells you that their guest says that it isn't strong enough. You offer to make the drink a double but they don't want to have to pay for the extra alcohol. I've resorted to making LITs in 9 oz glasses instead of 14 oz and making cosmos that didn't even fill half the martini glass just to shut these idiots up. Don't be pissed off at me because I made a drink right and you had to pay $6 for it. If you want your drinks to be overly stout and still cheap, stay at home and leave me the hell alone. P.S. This does not apply to all of you out there who make drinks weaker than they are supposed to be.

I'm concerned that those prayer requests from her "husband" was really the troll that wished her dead yesterday. Does anyone recall those hateful messages to her? I pray she really IS okay but I have this funny feeling someone is playing a sick joke.
