Some people genuinely care about others, they want to help, they can contribute in a real way to a world of hurting people.
They feel good about themselves helping others. They aren't selfish. For some reason they cannot work - disability etc... and they what little they can do is a good thing in their minds.

Why not? It's common curtesy Think about it.

Ex.
1.) People that help out the homeless in food shelters and such. - If you were homeless you would want someone to help you out when you couldn't eat right?

2.) If you had a flat on the side of the road and didn't have a jack, or a mickey...wouldnt you want someone to help?

3.) If you were an older person in a old folk's home and your family was dead or in a different state or for some reason you couldnt see them, wouldnt you feel better if you knew someone cared?

Everyone loves a helping hand...even the Earth...pick up ur trash...

Believe me it makes you feel better about yourself.
