This is a sensative topic (religion) so why in the world would you not expect to see questions and answers parodying your religion? Even if they border on the obscene they're still fun. We could goodie goodie two shoes and post good questions and answers but what fun would that be? I know that most of my questions aren't funny but people like Q,Balaam's Talking Donkey,Gazoo and such are.
The main question is "Why is it that other Atheists get so mad at other atheists that just want to have fun?"

Christians have one god,
and Athiest's claim that that god robs them of all common sense.
us Pagans have over 3000 gods, all taking their little piece of our brain, untill we are left to BBQ endlessly in a yard filled with empty beer bottles..
and there you have it, the evolution of the redneck Pagan.

That's a really good question. I have a good sense of humor, I'm married to a guy who will joke about ANYTHING. When something is asked clearly to be tongue in cheek or with a sharp wit it doesn't bother me. The last question that really ticked me off was earlier someone asked about Christianity and cults. I guess we all have our sensitive areas...

i know one-i won't say who-who has reported me several times while i've seen the same person saying angry words or parodying religion just as i did when reported by her...perhaps we shouldn't mind that much.i can use the world socialize for what we do in here which those people should understand that it includes many things

I think you answered your question when you stated it's a sensative topic. Religion is sacred to a lot of people, if you'll pardon the pun. So how can you expect those people to be pleased when you try to tarnish that?

I agree some people are way to sensitive. Even if it is a serious subject I like it when we have some fun too.

To me, humor does not degrade or demean other people. If it hurts someone, it's not funny. So, feel free to send jokes, but not at the expense of others.
Although I'm a fundamentalist Christian, I dislike any nasty jokes aimed at any race, or religion.

i agree with you, people dont have sense of humour and specially religious people (but there are some non religious as well) i dont know, maybe they are too stressed or something, anyway hope one day they can find the light of laughter....and Homer (Simpson) bless them all
