I'm concerned that those prayer requests from her "husband" was really the troll that wished her dead yesterday. Does anyone recall those hateful messages to her? I pray she really IS okay but I have this funny feeling someone is playing a sick joke.

Yes, me too Father K. It's bothering me so much that I had to say something.

Yes, Colson. Did you see this guy? His name was chompchompaway. He was asking "how do you want your Catholics cooked" and made a statement of how he "prayed to the devil to take DebraM's life"...they removed all his questions so I couldn't pull it up.

I hope she is OK. My prayers are going out to her anyway. I hope that this IS a joke because that will mean that she is doing OK. I do not know how anyone could wish her dead! What an awful human being to do such a thing! She seems to be a very fine lady! May the Lord bless her and watch over her no matter what her situation is!

Short of someone who knows her personally, it would be hard to know if this is valid or not. With the HIPPAA guidelines, a medical professional cannot divulge her medical information. I do know that a coma can happen from a surgery and a coma can last as little as 20 minutes (I've done some research on it), so this could be a valid post.

However, I did not see the posts last night, and I sure hope that Tommy M is legitimate. What purpose would it serve to send message to pray for her other than being legitimate ones from her husband?

To what purpose would that serve? This person has only posted on her condition, asked us to pray. We know that she's been ill for quite some time. I'd rather be "duped' than not send my good thoughts and prayers to someone I care about. Debra is a doll and many of us adore her.. I'd prefer we continue to go on the information given until we have proof otherwise.

I can only say that I hope it is a sick joke, and that Debra is truly alright. At least that would mean that she is in better condition than we believe.

It would be an unbelievable sick thing to do if it was a prank. Beyond.

Her 360 blog entry for yesterday (with her poem, "Just In Case"), has a couple of comments her husband posted today to serve as updates for her friends here, so -- short of an eyewitness report -- I think the information is credible.

I would rather make the error on the side of love than to deny a prayer to someone in need. If nothing else has come of this tragedy, I see people coming together for a common cause. Somebody please tell me what harm can come of this.

I would LOVE to believe that all this isn't true, that she really is healthy and ok. Either way, she will be in my prayers because I truly admire Debra and always want the best for her.

i do know that she was going into the hospital, she asked for prayers before she went...and i think there are 1 or 2 people she's emailed in the past about health issues...beyond that, i can't say...
