When Our Lady appeared to three shepherd children at Fatima She appeared several times in the course of a few months. Everytime She appeared She repeated one request . The request She repeated was to ask the faithful to pray the daily Rosary (at least five decades everyday or fifteen decades) . Why would She repeat this request to pray the daily Rosary unless it was urgent and a danger to one's soul not to say it? Our Lady also requested the faithful to wear the Brown scapular. These two means would save a soul from the fires of hell.
Is Hell a reality? Yes, it is a dreadful reality and that was what urged Our Lady to come and warn us in person. Here is an interesting article about hell.

Here are the fifteen promises of Our Lady to those who faithfully recite the daily Rosary:

When Our Lady appeared at Fatima the three seers noted that She looked extremely sad. Everytime She appeared She did not smile even once.

Praying isn't that hard. You surely have a few seconds here and there during your busy day to check in with God, same way you check in with your mom or your boyfriend or whatever. Give it a try -- just twice a day, say, when you wake up and when you go to bed, say the Our Father and get yourself reconnected with God.
It is a mortal sin for any Catholic to skip out on worshiping God at Mass on Sundays and other Holy Days of Obligation. Come on, it's an HOUR. You probably spend more time than that in any given day on personal grooming.
Here's what it comes down to: if you really believe in God, then He's worth a little time out of your week to go to Mass and worship Him. Plus you get to receive the Holy Eucharist (once you've been to Confession because you are in a state of mortal sin by skipping Mass), and the Eucharist is what really gives us the Lord's grace to be better people.
You sound like you want to get reconnected with God...why not at least try it? Start with prayer, then go to confession in the next couple days so you can start receiving the Eucharist when you return to Mass this very Sunday.

Perhaps, if you had paid attention, you would find time to pray at least once each day, and go to mass weekly.
Hell is real. There is no doubt about that. There cannot be a hell if there is not also a Heaven. So, the good news is, Heaven is real as well.
Can I assume you fear condemnation to hell? If you do, start praying, daily. You don't need to set aside huge amounts of time for this. Even 15 cumulative minutes of prayer each day suffices for most. We're all busy, but we also manage to find at least 15 minutes per day for the things that are important to us.
It's one thing to know of your Catholic heritage. It's another thing, a better thing, to live it.

Question 1 When you go to hell do you burn for eternity. Yes, at judgment, if you are not saved, you will be thrown in the fiery lake with Satan for eternity.
Just so you know, being Catholic and praying many times a day does not save you and make you a child of God. ONLY salvation through Jesus will save you. Jesus gives us Salvation as a Gift when we ask him into our life and ask for forgiveness of our sins. Yes, you should pray all the time, but if you pray and are not saved, it does you no good.

I would suggest going to a bible believing church to hear the word of God . My wife was a catholic but , when she started to come to the church I went to she said that , " Her eyes were opened and she accepted Christ as her savior ". Isaiah 59:2 , John 9:31 , 1Peter 3:12

Yes, hell is an eternity. That is if you choose to live a bad life, and don't choose God, well then one makes a choice.
You won't go to hell just pray a short prayer daily, and God will hear you.
Just start going to Holy Mass on Sunday. It will do you good.

I'm also Catholic and I believe that hell exists. As a 19 year old, my Catholic faith has increased so much due to God's grace in trials that i've lived through. It has been revealed by God in the Bible through the prophets that hell is real . Jesus is the only way to salvation, accept him, repent of your sins, and recieve the sacraments regularly! Start reading the New testament and say this prayer. God bless.
"NOVENA TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS"
O most holy Heart of Jesus, fountain of every blessing, I adore You, I loved You, and with a lively sorrow for sins, I offer You this poor heart of mine. Make the humble, patient, Pure and wholly obedient to Your will. Grant, good Jesus, that I may live in You and for You. Protect me in the midst of danger; comfort me in my afflictions; give me health of body, assistance in my temporal needs, Your blessing on all that I do, and the grace of a holy death.

Hell is the state of eternal separation from God. It is permanent torment and suffering. Those who die guilty of mortal sin and are not repentant condemn themselves to Hell.
Catechism of the Catholic Church
"1035 The teaching of the Church affirms the existence of hell and its eternity. Immediately after death the souls of those who die in a state of mortal sin descend into hell, where they suffer the punishments of hell, "eternal fire." The chief punishment of hell is eternal separation from God, in whom alone man can possess the life and happiness for which he was created and for which he longs."
God bless.

Do you believe in our heart of hearts that a loving father god would condemn his children to everlasting torture? This Hell story has its foundation in books like "The Divine Comedy" and other medieval trash. To think that God would torture you for some of the ridiculous sins talked about in the Bible, is a joke. The first thing for you to do, is to start thinking for yourself. Read about the foundations of Christianity, you will surprised at the goings on behind the facade of organized religion. Good luck, and don't worry about going to Hell, it doesn't exist.

while you've been baptised you are not really a caatholic - please don't take that to be cruel. i do believe that when you die, it will be your choice - heaven or hell. while i understand you work, have you access to books on tape you could listen to while at lunch or getting to and from work?! being Catholic is not just a one time born into it thing. it can bring you much peace and rest in our Lord Jesus Christ. while i too was raised CAtholic and wasn't practicing either in my late teens and 20's, i thank God that He stuck by me and got me through some really tough times. i didn't realize it was Him though -until i opened my eyes and came back to the Church.
