TTC....I think that technically speaking,"Greenwood" answered, correctly. However, especially in this forum, the question seems to revolve around the "application" and individual definition of acceptance and tolerance....I have tried a fews times to explain this from the Christian perspective and hopefully,a few listened.....It is too lengthy for this answer however.....

Sorry for chatting....but I have a few reasons for asking....Has anyone heard an update on Debra's condition?

No. Empathy should kick in here. To feel what others feel would totally change your outlook on other people. Empathy allows you to know someone from the inside out. It fires you directly into the subconscious of the people. Empathy is the beginning of loving your fellow humans.

I don't think so.
As long as we live in a free country we can express our views whether people want to hear them or not. The right to have this freedom means we must allow others who believe different that we do to express theirs as long as it doesn't promote hatred such as was demonstrated in the Second World War against Jews.
We have the right to feel what we feel, but we must care to not promote anger.

No, not at all. You simply have to understand that not everyone is going to think as you do, and that it's perfectly OK if they don't.
